You gotta put grease around the rubber top when you fit the rear strut brace. As far as i know you cant get a rear brace for the 197, but if anyone knows differently let me know please. As for the front, they are avaliable for the 197 but someone told me that cos the struts are so close to...

That light came up on mine, had a sparkplug pencil coil changed. (1.4 16v) I think its some kind of ecu warning or something.

It clips onto the radiator one side and the body the other side, behind your grill

It is nice mate, but i agree its alot of money for what it is. I paid just over £18,000 for a 197, for a 2.0 hatchback thats rediculously expensive. £2,000 more an i wuda had myself a megane 230 lol

Try BG44K fuel additive. Its expensive but IMO the only one on the market that has results.

If they're wearing on the outside mate you got a tracking problem, either that or your doing an ayrton senna round the corners lol. Is it just the outside wearing out (excessive toe-in) or wearing on both outer edges (under-inflation). Had my T1Rs for over 25,000miles now and they still look...

That trophy shot is from the Autocar review i think, they had a bag of shots with it up on three wheels, defo looks genuine to me either way.

Toyo T1Rs are the best for ALL ROUND performance IMO. that being traction, road noise and service life, and they look sporty too.

I had an 03 1.4 16v with perf. exhaust, induction kit, remap etc and i could manage 56 mpg! The joys of Bp Ulitmate lol

Well im running a 2008 197, i been told i need dot 4 low visc. for the ESP by a few peeps, but others say Castrol super dot 4 will be fine? :S

Haynes manual states 100nm lol.

Can you recommend brake fluids aswell? that'd be really useful.

Previous car was same as yours and i fitted a panel filter, K&Ns are the best i reckon, but didnt make any performance difference, just better pick up. Standard airbox runs a cold air feed from behind the nearside headlight anyway.

Manage 36mpg in my 197, but mine spends 95% of its time on the motorway. Great car, handles like its on rails.
