Same here, still appears to be adjusting and the shock absorber still feels to be doing its job. Did you ever find out what the problem was? I know you changed to other units in the end.
I seem to have a problem with the adjuster of one of my AST rear units. It's very stiff to turn and there's no audible click at each point of adjustment. I'll be getting in touch with Powerstation, but has anyone else experienced this?
Finally got around to having the front springs changed. Now using 300lb rear and 240lb front. Feels so much better on the basic set up with the dampers set to their middle adjustment.
Unfortunately I think I have a problem with one of the rear dampers, so I'll have to get in touch with...
Yep, no worries everyday - great in the dry and good in the wet. I still won't be driving through standing water at high speeds though.
The Kumho V70A's I ran for a while aquaplaned at 60 in torrential rain, I'm pretty sure the Hankooks could do the same at 70+. I am talking extreme conditions...
A cast iron answer would be great! I'm also trying to get an idea of its shape so I can tell the numbnuts at the garage what they should be looking for.

You sure about that? The black car had extended track and wheelbase and was pretty much a one off, despite looking in proportion the whole shell was a one off iirc.
Having a bit of trouble with a part that doesn't appear to have been replaced on my car after some repair work.
There is a plate of some discription that goes in front of the alternator to deflect air onto the radiator and I presume to protect the alternator from water and road debris.
