Right sorry yes I do have a convertor its a 9 pin to usb convertor. So you think I would be better off getting a extension cable to bring the 9 pin thing into the glove box. And then using my connector from there? Ill look into those sort of plates then thanks

M10 x 1.5 last time I checked They would not use an UNF (fine) thread for an important component like that. However they do use f**king T40's a lot :@

Its always the way but im sure I will get it done!. I was thinking about it but the T7 heater should be up to the job. Going to test it first and see how I get on. Might hold off on ordering the screen actually and see how the t7 performs. are the heated front screen easy to wire in?
