Right so after work I thought I would continue with the car as I had some goodies to put on it.
First of all I thought I would tackle the rear suspension. So I jacked the car up and put stands underneath...
Hi I am trying to fabricvate the 197 cage into a poverty spec shell. I am getting near the end of it but i am unsure how i am going to mount the rear stays to the suspension pick up points at the rear of the car.
Are they welded into your car or do you put the suspension through the cage and...
Just the dial lights. With the lights on the green light comes on and the blue light when i use my main beam. Also i dont believe i have a dimmer (well i never found one)
As above on my 2004 1.5 dci 100. Last night coming home my automatic lights came on but my instrument lights did not illuminate. Tried again today and turned my lights on manually and still nothing.
Any suggestions?
Thanks dan

Re: The Confused Budget Track Clio! * Inc 197 Cup Cage Content*
Thanks dude its getting there. Did a bit more work tonoght but havent written it up yet. Also picking up something vital to the build tomorrow can't wait!
Thanks for the advice. Im not going to be upgrading to braided lines as i just bought this fuel lines lol. As i am running a MK 1 engine i need a flow and return so the standard 172 fuel lines wouldn't have done the job.
I didnt realise the rubber would let the fumes escape...... thats a pain...

Well a very small update. Not really done much to the car but did get some more bits for it.
I popped round to see Paul as he is breaking a PH1 172 and I desperately needed some parts that I had either...
What are peoples views on running rubber fuel lines through the car. My mate thinks I should do it to make it nice and easy for replacing things etc etc. I can understand if the fuel lines are braided as there is a bit more protection but would rubber ones be ok.
Would track day event...
