Never resolved.
Sensor resistance changed so assuming that worked. Never had a reply to the cable pinouts once in the car, and have not looked at tracing the cables back yet!
This just came up in conversation at work and wondering if it was possible?
A colleague said that you can buy a kitto do this?
Is it possible and is it worth it?!
Just wondered what sensor this is please??
I understand the oil level sensor is to the left of the filter but need to know the one on the other side.
Cheers in advance!
That might be a good shout actually. The MOT had advisories for both 'CV gaiters deteriorated'. Maybe one/both have given up!
Is this a big(expensive) job to do?!
Looks that way!! Haha
Engine oil level is fine. Haven't checked the gearbox level yet as this involves taking the air box out?! From what I understand anyway...!
Thanks for the reply. Car is running fine and I will do some investigating tomorrow. Just hoping to get some advice on here beforehand! Maybe best to clean it off and see where it appears from...?
Ok so noticed a bit of oil on the drive since returning from holiday this morning. Having a look underneath the engine and not sure if something is missing?! Almost looks like a threaded hole when zooming in on the picture...
Can anybody put my mind at rest or is the oil coverage generally...
Have just noticed there is a crack in my offside rear disc, so these need replacing asap!
Where is the best place to go and how much should I expect to pay? Only for road use - about 2500 miles per year! ?
Thanks!
I like the look of them. Are they expensive?
I'd imagine a lot more than buying a second clock and removing the fascia plate itself!
Aiming to keep my car completely standard too, other than lowering springs.
But cheers for the info ?
That's what I was worried about, the mileage. Would rather keep mine!
It seems to have a frame of some kind around it so maybe I can get a second hand one and Frankenstein the panel...
As the title says, my 2002 172ph2 is hesitating slightly when driving it straight from cold (to and from work!).
Once the temp. needle gets up to normal running temp. everything is fine? This only takes a few minutes normally. Seems to pull well through gears when up to temp. But just feels as...
Ok so I am just seeing if this can be done/is worth doing?
I have some of the coating that covers the instrument panel coming away just below my EML. I thought it was black tape at first but after closer
inspection can now see it is the panel itself...
I realise this will involved taking apart...
Thanks.
Would this not show up as a fault code though? I did wonder this at first after reading other threads.
Do I need a more detailed fault code reader?
Ok so hoping for some help on this!
I have had it twice when my car has the orange injection system fault light appear (No other lights on) when I am accelerating. Rectangle orange box, dead centre below low fuel warning.
The revs then seem to hold at about 2500 ish and I cannot get any more...
Ok do the fitment depth doesn’t matter on these cars then? I was always under the impression that was as important as the speaker diameter?
Completely agree with the wiring, I wouldn’t leave it without a proper connection...
