I managed to sell the Porsche after almost a years ownership as i never really
got along with the car, namely the manual gearbox. Being a lazy git ive just
bought another automatic and this time a CLS 320 CDI. I was in two minds which
car to go for and in the end the slight better...
If the car has spent its whole life from new in southern ireland then you cannot HPI it like you can in England however there are Irish alternatives. If the car was imported from England into Southern Ireland then you can get the previous registration and HPI that in the UK.
If you buy a car...
What a load of b****cks!
What is the point in doing something like that when to import a car into the Republic of Ireland you have to pay VRT tax which is usually between 20% and 40% of what the government think its market value is?
Anyway that Megane is on bloody UK plates. Its a UK car so...
Out of all the diesel cars ive owned over the past 10 years, some with well over 100k miles the Passat i have now for work has been the most unreliable.

However i managed to last just 3 months in the job as the manager was just about the biggest bell end ive ever met in my life. Ah the delight in telling him where to stick his job just...
I got a payment on top of my car being hit for devaluaton before years ago though unless things have changed. I just let a solicitor handle everything.
There was a chap on the lotus forums with a new Evora which got a bit of a tap in a car park. The insurance were going to write the car off...
Looks nice and clean now!
A tip for the exhausts....
Get yourself a dremmel and a little pink round sanding ball onto it and polish the insides of the exhaust up with that. I done mine 2 years ago and they still clean easy each time im washing the car and look nice and silver. You can also do...
Not really at all. The caliper locked itself shut on my brake disc before on the old M3 and after 1/2 mile driving at 30mph it was glowing red/purpley hot.
I dont get why everyone faps themselves silly over Porsche reliability. There are some pretty serious issues with modern porsches and a lot of everyday stupid design issues with their cars.
