No its the WIFI. We dont have any 3G from O2 in our area so thats out the window too. Ive done all the restoring etc without any difference to the wifi.

If i download a movie and fire it onto my ipad (possibly avi format etc) can i play this back over airplay? Or do i have to convert it to apples format?

Ah! Never realised this. We use Acronis for imaging across machines we refurb but wasnt aware you could universal restore. I was going to suggest a repair install in case the imaging doesnt work.

Surely if the hardware is different on the old machine compared to the new machine then ghosting or imaging is not going to work?

Buy a proper SSD hard drive and upgrade the memory. You wont believe the difference.

Shite! I never realised they were that bad on petrol around town. The M3 does 18mpg but im always around town and rarely on longer journeys. What are the rest of the running costs like on the M6? Any box trouble or is that just internet myths again?
