Flash the Linksys with DDWRT firmare.. I was having problem with mine but after sorting it out with the custom linux version I have total control and its rock solid ! Can even alter the transmission power of the antenna's, monitor system load etc. with DDWRT...

When transferring wireless to wireless your halfing the capacity. Wired to wireless your getting full capacity. Although that does seem particularly slow. It probably just a shitty Belkin router (I've never actually seen a good piece of Belkin kit)
