I think the only issues is for the first few weeks of fitting the wheel doesn't central return as smooth due to it rubbing the steering shroud, but that soon goes away.
Very nice indeed. Looks a very mint example and you done nice subtle mods to it. Love that 1st pic of your old one! It was that pic that I had saved as a screensaver to convince me to black my 182 wheels :)
I think that's true. I know the streamline ones are better quality and very slightly slimmer than the ktec ones. Only downfall with them is the waiting list :(
Hard oe to call tbh. Arctic looks really good with the carbon one and I personally prefer them but I think the standard one would suit it more, judging by the looks of your car and the way you modified it/freshened it. As mentioned after a while the carbon ones chip and can look rather tired...
Unfortunately the colour match is hard to get. I put 4 different shades next to the wheels and this seemed to be the closest.
I could be rolling like the batmobile in batman forever, eh Scott?! Chicks love the car iirc!
Barry, I don't have the strong eye for detail like yourself ;)
Re: 2118's center caps (kind of)
So i popped down my local halfords to try and get a colour match for the caps against the 2118's. Having a look and it was hard to tell but i went with this in the end:

As mentioned i ordered some R.S. stckers from n2grafix...
I wouldn't go white due to the style of the wheels. The wheels are not shaped/styled to pull off big bold colours. Anthracite, silver or black are the only colours that work IMO.
Maybe try black gold, same as the car. I had mine done in black gold. Looked lovely and gloss under normal...
Re: my clio 172 winter project ( nearly finished )
That's good to hear mate. I think you get like this every now and again, but give it a good blast and the love come back :)
Did you have the nuts on your old ones on your iceberg? I'd definitely recommend getting some with the nuts on the back as it just pulls in better and sits more flush. Where I've bonded mine on there not 100% flush, although its hardly noticeable. I used some G-clamps to press it clamp them...
Theres a chap on the forum called extremeinferno and he did it all. I'm thinking of getting rid of it all though and going anthracite with red stickers instead...
Haha, I do like the weave Rob! Yeah I was taking to Dave and Scott for a bit afterwards mate. Was nice weather yesterday to have the roof down on yours
Might be worth reading through these threads. There is more on here my my mind has gone blank!

Re: 2118's center caps (kind of)
Just ordered some R.S. decals in red and silver off Ady@n2grafix and ill be doing the red decal on top with a silver shadow. The raised center bit on the cap is 25mm so Ady will do some to fit :)
Does anybody know a colour match or very similar for anthracite...
Yours is :) I was eve thinking on the way home that I actually like the dash!
No worries Dave, anytime :) Did Stanley like the planes, trains and automobiles?
Re: 2118's center caps (kind of)
Also does anybody know what colour the wheels are or a very similar colour match. As you can see the techno grey is slightly darker.
Re: 2118's center caps (kind of)
How about swirly chipped paint with the odd scratch that needs painting and polishing? That's closer! Lol
No probs, Mick. My wheels are et43 but I'm running dan@mad 5mm spacers all round.
I agree. Even though my nuts had been painted black I still wanted...
Re: 2118's center caps (kind of)
Not sure yet. They were wearing off more when I last cleaned them so it did look rather odd. 2500 grit and t-cut and there all ok. Will run without them for a while then see. Might get red decals?
For people that are interested this is the part number...
