One of my decals has stated to rub away. I was thinking of using a fine wet & dry to remove them all.
Firstly, would this be safe to do so without ruining the paint on the wheels?
Secondly, if so what grade/grades should I use?
Thirdly, would it look cr*p? Should I leave it?
Pics of decal...
Thanks for that. I know how to get the bumper off so I was just wandering what you did with regards to removing the jets and hoses afterwards, etc. looks so much better with the blanks fitted and no more steaks!
Yeah the splitter is quite different but cool. It is very chunky though and if...
I honestly can't remember as it was over 2 years ago. It does say on there website that if the parts aren't in stock then it may take longer. Might be lucky and get a sat morning delivery but if its not there by Tuesday then drop them a call/email.
Have you got a guide to what you did and parts you used to remove the old headlight washers and fit blanks. I've bought some off here and ill be spraying and bonding them into my bumper like you have done.
Car looks good too :) Like that front splitter a lot but you can see why it didnt last long!
Mine took a few days to come through. Remember it was a bank holiday on Monday. Keep you're PayPal receipt, just in case, but it should be here soon :)
Definitely sounds like a rear wheel bearing. Mine did it at 40mph-50mph then 70mph+. As rob said for the price of what a garage may charge for the bearing to be fitted you might as well just get a set of rear discs with the bearings already pressed in. That way you get new discs aswell. Don't...
I had a rear wheel bearing go a few months ago. Makes a horrible whining sound. If its the rears then as above, they come in the rear discs already pressed in. You can change just the bearing but the bearing will need to be pressed in.
Re: Clios, Fry Ups and Fighter Planes.
Gutted I couldn't come matt :( Let me know when the next ones happening and hopefully I won't be working so ill attend :)
Yeah it does Chris. Lining up the wheels and the hub holes with the discs then putting the wheels on and the disc moves can be a right PITA. Not anymore though :) It doesn't look as flush as having bolts but due to it being easier i can live with that :)
Yea Steve, that would be great if you...
Welcome mate :) As Kyle said, check out the SE as loads of meets happen.
Theres been more than 4 pages mate! Always happen when a girl signs up! Like shark infested virgins on here lol.
Oh what's been done to the engine cover?
As jared mentioned, you could always spray the bullets and have black/graphite stickers. The clio campus ones are smooth so all you need to do is paint, sticker then lacquer. That's if you wanted to of course!
Thats what I thought. I don't mind bonding them on though as I plan not to take them off.
Haha, yeah well wrong!! My TPI bolts were not in the condition I wanted them in and I wanted to convert to studs as it makes changing the wheels easier as I can just slide then on rather than lining up...
