KAM racing do the OMP subframes for £80 (for the pair) which seems like a great price so all sorted
Cheers for the advice Rexy (I was very close to taking a cutter & welder to my car lol).
Well I was looking to weld in some 5mm steel plates and then bolt through them.
How I get around the height difference from left to right is where I'm struggling.
Reluctant to spend £90 a go on subframes if I can
I enjoy it, I love how its individual, other people love it, girl friend hates it, I then love it more and 2bh in terms of the money I ain't well off but its what I like to spend money on and really couldn't care if I get any of the money back as ill have had fun in the process.
I do 250 miles...
Got some suzuka pros and side mounts that I assumed I would be able to fit straight to the floor sections until I went to do it :/
Had my seats out and noticed the sections which the subframes bolt to are offset so presume I need some sort of steelsection welded in so the mounts are fixed...
Gone to fit my new seats today, had it in my head the side mounts would bolt into the existing subframes.
So I've not purchased new subframes, will I need to? Is there no way of using existing frames?
Bit gutted as was looking forward to getting them in and don't really have the spare money...
Same, I thought my brakes were sh1te, I left foot braked the other night on a queit road just out of curiosity and felt like i'd just gone into a brick wall lol
I hate this rat craze, I like the imagination that goes in to some of them but the actual point of it I can't get my head round
Art project yes, destorying a car and passing it off as something for shows no :dead:
I had the same problem and it was due to a buckled wheel that's all I was thinking.
To be able feel it at 30mph seems quite extreme to me, I'd imagine its more down to your geometry than something being worn, especially with it instantly becoming a problem.
You can still put everything back in within reason which I think is what Alex meant, I however aren't that organsied and the majority of it is in a skip some where

I can't get my head around how anybody could have over steer on a road unless they couldn't give a sh1te about their car or them selves 2bh, I'm all for giving it some beans and often do but to have over steer on a normal road, I can't get my head around it :\ Maybe I just drive like a wet fish...
