The 197 isnt that bad on pace. I know it may be 2-3 secs off the 182 to 100mph but in reality you never really do standing starts up to 100. On road had a tussle with one and it was good fun. Sure I may have been slightly quicker, but there was no denying that we were both having loads of fun!

^^ Ease them off gently with a flat sided object, screwdriver or something. Be careful the trim is easily scratched.

Those standard wheels are total cack. Makes the car look like a 1.2 dynamique. Get 182 cup pack rims they look much better.

Not sure about the not revving above 3k, is your emission light on?

Twin exhausts is a lot better than none.

You do hardcore track driving? The standard calipers are off a 2.9 v6 espace! Try uprated discs and pads before shelling out. Mite not be that much in it if you only do the odd track day.

Saw the ebay thread, said 6.8kg i think on the advertisment. A 15" super leggera weighs in at 4.7 kg. Real lightweight and they are very strong too.

Did leicester and back on £22 quid over the weekend, averaged out to be 10 miles for a quid. God I love this car, was 5 up as well.

Poly bushes are always worth it to tighten up the whole package. If youve spent loads on expensive springs and dampers or coliys then to leave these out is a bit of a waste. Also will make the most of the standard setup as per the comments above.

Bring it on, a turbocharged smallish hatch aka R5 GTT is well overdue. I would seriously consider chopping my 182 for a turbocharged 197!

I have2 say the ff182 is very good value 4 money which is why I purchase it in the first place. very cheap to run, excellent economy if driven sensibly and comfortable considering the cars sporting credentials. I will be keeping for the forseeable future and not be wasting money upgrading...
