The 197 isnt that bad on pace. I know it may be 2-3 secs off the 182 to 100mph but in reality you never really do standing starts up to 100.
On road had a tussle with one and it was good fun. Sure I may have been slightly quicker, but there was no denying that we were both having loads of fun!
You do hardcore track driving? The standard calipers are off a 2.9 v6 espace! Try uprated discs and pads before shelling out. Mite not be that much in it if you only do the odd track day.
Poly bushes are always worth it to tighten up the whole package. If youve spent loads on expensive springs and dampers or coliys then to leave these out is a bit of a waste.
Also will make the most of the standard setup as per the comments above.
I have2 say the ff182 is very good value 4 money which is why I purchase it in the first place. very cheap to run, excellent economy if driven sensibly and comfortable considering the cars sporting credentials.
I will be keeping for the forseeable future and not be wasting money upgrading...
