Shiny flame red DCI Sport rep and not so shiny PH1 172 - (56k beware)

The flamers come a long way. Is that supposed to be it hoovered out though? Tell her to get back out there and do it properly lol

please help, want new RS clio but which one?? want your pics new owners too.

200 cups don't come with any spoiler as standard, it'll be an optional extra. Both the 200 and 200 cup have the vented wings also. They both essentially look the same from the outside. Don't bother with a Gordini, they're fooking horrid, buy a normal 200/200 cup and spend the extra money...

    Kumho KU31 Ecsta Sport

No, hence why they are KH and not KU.

    Clio 200 Cup HID kit?

H7 fitment. I've had kits from donrsno1 and MTAUDIO off here and both were spot on. The donrsno1 kit is a few years old now and is still going strong in my mates Vectra.

    Wide-Arch Dynamique...

I like it a lot, subtle but still noticeable. Needs some wider wheels and ET of about 0 now though.

    Kumho KU31 Ecsta Sport

We sell a lot of these at work, the majority of people ask for them again when they come back, many of them see 20K from a set. Have to say the KH11s I had on my 1.2 were very very good in the dry, just a shame they were pants in the wet, although I think those were a cheaper variant of Kumho...

It's needing to go to the petrol station again?!

You must abuse it everywhere! My old modded 172 would return 32mpg average from a mix of town driving/giving it some stick, and it was a "quick" one too.

    Loving the DCI

I filled the 200 up couple of days ago, range of just over 300 miles lol

Confusion as to which packs my 182 has

Only way to tell if it has the suspension pack is to check the bolt spacing on the strut. Splitters sometimes go missing/get broken/the dealers don't bother attaching them to the car.

    Lowness Obsession

Ah yes I've had a few people overtake me on speedbumps before, although it balances out as they are the usually same idiots I catch up to a few minutes later dithering around at roundabouts/lights/junctions/ or doing 45mph on NSL roads. TBH I still take speedbumps slowly in my standard height...

    Lowness Obsession

Perfection. I love cars that are seriously low. One thing I miss about my coilover'd 1.2 was watching the person behind getting angrier waiting on you as you crawl over speedbumps. I agree it is a waste however doing it to something intended to be driven hard and fast like an RS, unless you...

    Clio 200 Cornering Lights

They're worth it for the projector lense alone. I'll be sticking a set on mine sometime soon.

Look what I have just bought

Yeah I was going to say, moar stance to go with the lows is where it needs to go next! Still a lovely looking machine the way it is though.

    Does anyone fancey a laugh!!

I don't follow you mate? Not really. The bodywork + turbo conversion would be £10k+ alone, never mind the retrim/audio/wheels etc.

    Does anyone fancey a laugh!!

At least it's been done properly, even if it is ugly, and it's not a 1.2.
  20. JCC

    Down because of a Clio.

Not true IMO, it is a lot easier to stack a 172 than it would be in a 1.2. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for having the car you want at a young age. I had my 1.2 at 17, a 172 at 18 and now have a 200 at 19 years old and have never even so much as scraped one against a bollard. Just make sure you...

    Petrol...

Don't bother with V-Power in a 1.2. Unless it's decatted and you like the smell.

Look what I have just bought

Dammit, I was just about to say that.

    Will these tyres do?

Kumhos are pretty good in the dry, bit pants in the wet though from my experience, had KH11s on my 1.2. For the same money T1Rs are the better all rounder, which I moved onto after the Kumhos.

    EK's

That coupe is stunning James! They're just that little bit cooler than hatchbacks IMO.

    EK's

Granny spec? Some EK4 VTIs would surprise you in your 172!

Courtesy cars make you appreciate your own car.

Use a lower gear. Problem solved.

    EK's

Love EKs, exactly what I'd be driving if anything ever happened to the 200/the insurance got too expensive. Probably a coupe though.
