Trying to decide at the mo between a 1.4 petrol150 fr or a 2.0 150 diesel fr..
Prob do 10k miles a year, mix of commuting and 30 odd mile motorway commutes. Have heard the 1.4 engine is a bit smoother but still goes ok. Prob keeping it for 5 to 10 years so petrol mibbe better than diesel for dpf...
Yeah I've spent a fair bit but always knew I wouldn't get back what I had paid out. Was just happy to have it done properly!
Ta for the positive feedback btw!
What's it worth post. On 113k miles, just had a years mot. Since I bought it has had belts/dephaser/water pump done and full service, new pads/fluid all round and Bremo HC front discs, both rear calipers replaced, new cup shocks and on Eibach springs. 4x P zero Nero with plenty of tread, new...
Honestly? My wean's carseats wouldn't fit in the backseat of my puma any more after they ran out of headroom. Wanted something with more room in the back, that was fast/fun and most importantly cheap! Got my 182 FF for under a grand- has needed lots of wee things doing and still got more but I...
Aye fair enough mate. Have you extended the bottom of the shifter tho? Slightly concerned about fitting a 15% quickshift.. are those easy to do? Not sure if the extended base section gives the same effect but is less likely to bugger the gearbox..
Right. Getting the scenic shifter sorted but seems to be so many opinions as to what works best!
Have ordered Yanoo's stiff shift 3.0.
My plan was to bend the shaft slightly and extend the base section to shorten the shift.
Yanoo recommends fitting the 15% quickshift and shortening the linkage...
Hi Louis- saw your prev posts so was gonna ask you specifically but couldn't start a convo for some reason. If you could let me know I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
Hi folks, will be modding a scenic shifter shortly and a friend has offered to turn a wee link piece up on his lathe for me to extend the lower shaft. Anyone know the inside/outside diameter please? He works at sea so will sort it out on board for me- problem is I don't have a spare to...
Might be in the wrong section so sorry if so. Got someone interested in my seats but not sure of the best way to send within the UK? Anyone got any suggestions? Sending from Glasgow to York..
Hmmm. Airbags in the tt seats are single stage same as the clios, hough i can't find much info on Google about even just using seats from a different manufacturer in a car. Weird.
Hi folks. One for the auto electricians here possibly. Have bought some lovely mk1 Audi TT seats to go in my clio. Still have airbags in them and was wondering how hard it would be just to wire in/solder the connections so these theoretically would work. I'm no auto-electrician (as you've prob...
