Now looking at a 2007 one. 88k, looks in decent nick, timing belt done at 67k, all looks tight unlike the other couple i saw today. Only issue is its the keycard/keyless entry with a start stop button.. Not sure if it has a spare key at the mo but is there a lot of issues with this? The card...
Yeah that's strange considering it was only dine in Jan!
Clocked the cossie in the background aye.
72kfor the belts is it? Will look for some good history and if none will walk
Going to see a 2006 1.4 dynamique tomorrow for a family member. Done 71k and apparently in good nick and gearbox fine. Apart from usual stuff like uneven tyre wear, dodgy electrics and shonky panel gaps anything I should look out for? When is the timing belt on these needing done for instance...
I'm the same! Prev had a side impact sensor throwing up a code but that's sorted. Used the correct resistors in the airbag plugs when I did the seats but still getting a light ffs.
Got a new squib to put in then I'll need to see if there's any nice folk in Glasgow that have clip.. either that or...
Fitted these from an evo 10 in mine. Not quite as nice as the ones above and no tilt/slide but seats in great nick and went in no probs with Jon Foz subframes. £380 All in which is a lot cheaper than the standard fit ones but the Mrs does moan about the lack of tilt/slide!
Had mine done by a couple of mechanics/enthusiasts for £550 all in. All genuine belts, water pump, dephaser, filter and oil from RPD. Cost was £350 in parts.
Driveshafts were fine a couple of months ago when the belts were changed. Had a look then.
Mechanic has put his glasses on and got a floodlight on it and can't see anything. One a bit rusty but all intact apparently.
Normal light braking, just as I'm about to stop abs kicks in for the last couple of feet.
All sensors and rings are fine, no error codes. New front disks, pads and bled properly a short while back. Garage is a bit stumped tbh.
Anyone got any ideas?
First one in today. Evo 8 seats. Turned into a bit of a bugger with the 8mm Allen bolts rounding off. Also a bit lopsided so the grinder might need to come out to get it sitting a bit lower without so many levelling washers! Still, it's lower and a lot comfier!
Thanks @JON FOZ !
Seems a bit bizarre asking but looking at various budget replacement seat options.. recaro trendlines etc look good and obv Jon Fox has subframes to suit but there's lots of Focus ST type folding recaros that seem to come with airbags fitted at reasonable prices. I realise that some later clio...
