Sometimes it's more fun to not have the ultimate grip available. I prefer it like that, you can learn more about car control and gives big smiles. Maybe Mark has another reason but that's why I just use good road tyres, rather than track ones.

Just take it steady until you get used to it. Even on soft it dramatically changes the car's behaviour, as Mick says on hard you really feel the back end and it can try and swap ends.
