Not saying that's the answer mate but it is easy to overlook the obvious things. But if the fronts are a bit low then it could tramline etc. so feel like the tracking is out when it's not. Just changing the wheels round couldn't affect your tracking unless you lined them up with a sledgehammer lol.
If you aren't going on track then you only need a standard setup, as I'm sure you'll find out now. Anything else is overkill really, just trying to save you some cash, sure George will sort you out either way though.
Same steps as me. BT was the only fibre optic when I moved recently. Had to pay Virgin about £70 to come out of contract but worth every penny. Virgin was dire from the first day I had it. BT has only dropped on me once in over two months.
As Luke says then. Cooksport or Eibach Sportlines. Job done, don't even consider coilovers with that budget and you won't get the real benefit just on road use anyway.
Q1. How old are you?
Q2. Road or track use?
Are you young enough to put up with the lack of comfort?
Are you getting cheap or decent coilovers and are you tracking it to actually get the benefit of the outlay?
Haha, no I meant that's what some of the old boy racers used to do in Mk2 Escorts etc. to give a bit more weight over the back wheels. Not exactly sure it worked, the old man never used to bother when he was hillclimbing Mk1s and never seen anyone pedal better than he did. R.I.P. Pop x
Thought just came into my head Tony, do you think the extra weight helped keep the backend a bit more planted for the corners or purely it wasn't enough to make much difference at all?
