Earlier today (Tuesday) coming out of the carpark where McD's, currys & PC world is in bath.
a silver 182 (not sure on plate no) but had a roof rack & a cliosport sticker in rear window.
At last i've seen one with a sticker...
So... this must be someone on here :-)
Halfrauds said it was a bugger of a job to fit the denison ice link?????
what a bunch of lying t**ts
I have never before removed my 2003 clio stereo, but had it out within a matter of seconds with a wire coat hanger, then (without having to remove any wires from the stereo) pulled the stereo...
I think they are lying..
The FM modulator just plugs in between your aerial & HU doesn't it & so can be used on 'any' car setero, and i take it you have to tune your stereo in, to play through it. (kind of like the FM transmitters, only better sound quality.)
Have a read on this for the FM...
I think you just need to buy the actual Pioneer iPod adapter which (in my link above) is £54.99, aslong as your HU will accept it.
So cheaper than the denison for a standard HU.
(correct me if i'm wrong)
I'm far from an expert, but i think you will be needing an iPod adapter for a pioneer HU not a renault.

I'm actually from Bristol, but work in bath. Only really tend to drive up over lansdown & drop down into weston (i think thats what it's called) down to by the RUH, from there i'm driving a pool car from work (astravan) so not really out & about in bath in my motor.
Sounds a bit dodgy to me.. (as i'm sure it does to you)
I'm gonna check mine now (while it's still under warranty!), after reading all this ... got me thinking now lol
Hell.. so it could be a bigger problem down the line then... (well come MOT time, 1st MOT November '06)
I will definitly jack the thing up & have a look, possibly change the pads.
How come the 172 cup doesn't use the rear brakes much then? any reason for this?
The car is only 2 years old, so...
after long journeys there are still rust rings around the disc, i will jack the car up & have a good look at it. might get down the dealers under warranty if any probs...
cheers
Right, i know brake discs rust when not used for a little bit in this kind of weather, but my rear brake discs don't actually seem to get rid of the rust.
I drive to work (about 8 miles) and when at work they are still covered in rust, there are some 'silver' rings around it where it's coming...
I've just run the cable into the glovebox, which has worked out perfect for me, if i want an album to listen to on the way to work i select it before plugging it in, otherwise i get along just fine with the 5 playlists you can have.
Also there was a gap in the top right hand side of my...
My mrs is insured on my cup.. although, when i first got it, she drove me home from the pub in it one night...
and pulled away whilst turning into a road pretty quickly (driving it as she does her pug dturbo!) and it kind of scared her to say the least..
Luckily i was a bit drunk, so had a...

http://www.caraudioplus.co.uk/pp/iPod_Car_Adapters/iPod_Adapters_for_Factory_Radios/Renault_iPod_Ice_Link_Plus_Adapter.html
But having just looked on the site, it appears to have gone up to £150 now, i paid £99 (ish) a week or so ago!
But it's well...
Thats looks blooomin lovely.. well smart! i need to clean mine now!!

all i can say is, i hope the sh*t they do catches up with them ...
W*****s
Whilst driving around for work today, i spotted 3 clio sports.
1. WP04 *** - Yellow 182, on the A420 driving past Wick and turned off towards Siston common by the griffin pub.
2. WU03 *** - Black 172, Comet Carpark at Longwell green (ok ok i was skiving off work at that point!)
3. 05...
well i fitted mine a week ago & just use the roller thingy on the stalk control to change Tracks.
& the 1-5 buttons on the stereo to change Playlists (button 6 gets you into the denison menu)
To change the 'Track' on the actualy stereo you just press the fast forward (track skip) button like...
Yeah im sure your right about it not being straight forward.
I am aware of the need to find room to put the crossover & fix it down somehow...
But i'm sure i read somewhere that you have to cut some plastic around the tweeters to get them out??? can't for the life of me remember where i read...
Oh dear.. sorry to hear that mate :-(
Your right .. it's gonna be a long 7 days though.. (sorry, had to say it)
I looked at mine in a garage on a saturday.. then went back & bought it on sunday.. picked it up on the wednesday evening. (is it me or did that sound like that craig david song!)...
