If day change the lambda sensor. Mine was dodgy and threw up the light and was getting 28/29mpg. Bought a second hand one off here for a tenner and swapped it over and now it runs fine with 35mpg.
No mate. Someone scraped into my car at work some few months ago and I never got round to getting it painted. This wing came up and em didn't know what to get me for my b'day and she knew my wing was bugging me so she bought me it...... (And a sports grill, new trainers, and a watch! She's a top...
Terrible joke...... I love it! ;)
Have a look in the South East/South Central area Chris and get your name down. I'm going to book it off tomorrow when I go into work so ill let you know for defo if I'm going :)
Got competition y0!
Thanks for the comments :) Paint looks in good condition in the pics but in person it's showing signs if wear :(
No I can agree with what you are saying mate. In all honesty I do look at it sometimes and think "is it too much?" yet other times I really like it. Maybe it would be more subtle...
Was that a hint about my "tha" as I'm not sure what that was meant to be!
Dont worry about the grammar mate, it's the pics that do the talking, and the pics look good :)
Im going to put my name down for the Surrey R/R day in feb to see what the old girl is running. I went to the Essex R/R day at TDI last year and these were my figures:

Unfortunately its all been done before lol, i guess thats the joys of owning a 7/8 year old car. At least this way you can see whether it looks good before you commit.
ND = Naughty Driver? I may look good fletcher, but it didnt feel good :(
Might be worth checking out bandersons thread. I think he's got the red stickers in he's but the dash strips and other parts are in bg. Looks really nice :) Food for thought.
It was mate! I was freezing my little legs off and just gave up :(
Yeah I'm up for that mate. Just check my rota and I'm on lates so when I'm back in at work ill book the day off :)
I woke up yesterday not really feeling up for it and feeling poo :(

Thanks chaps. Chris it was a right pain in the butt and you was right, you do have to remove the skirt.
Cheers Rob :) It's ok as I've chatted up both Ant (Scrooge) and Mike (Budgie) to fit it for me when one is available. I needed 3/8th uj socket extension, puller and rivet gun, all of which I...
Does look rather nice. I prefer this to just that badge on the right, however I do think the 197 badge on the left and the clio on the right looks best.
Thanks guys :)
Nick, I didn't know they was special screws. Damn cars not going anywhere at the mo :( Will have to wait for the gf to get back from the gym before I can get the tool.
Mike, I dont have a puller or a uj :( fancy fitting it for beer tokens? ;)
I'm stuck trying to get the above off.
Ive undone and taken off the bumper, disconnected the visible bolts and screws, and unbolted the headlight to give me more room. I've also unbolted the drivers side wipers and scuttle panel but can't undo the passenger side. I believe ive got to do this to...
Thanks :) Theres the wheels, lows and seats which are the first signs its been modified but like you say its the subtle touches (Little stickers, Red stitching on steering wheel and gear gaiter, red strip on spoiler, etc) that are not ott but are effective :)
Here's the pics of my BG182 just before i picked it up. The previous owner had put the original badge back on but after these pics pics were taken he'd put a carbon splitter on.
