He didn't say that though did he, he said if you've got a FULL cage then it needs to be padded, and if you have buckets then you need a rear cage at least.
Love a good progress thread :)
Think taking the tints off was a wise move, sort of spoiled the clean look you was going for, car is looking nice mate
Edit: O dear :\ didn't read the 2nd page, gutted, I crashed mine the other week, know how you're feeling, best of luck with it
I love my 182, can't fault it, others attempt to fault it because it's 'french' but all it takes is for them to have a quick gun around in it with me and they love it.
Ride height is spot on for me personally, felt like I was in a bus when I first got it as you're quite low down in a corsa but...
She's taking you for a mug mate imo, no reason why a range rover is better for a family, prob a pain getting a baby in there, no doubht worse on fuel, she just wants to be seen driving round with her shades on wag style.
Like others have said, I'd lol in the gf's face if she asked me to sell...
Going to pick up a 182 rear axle tonight, the fella over the phone sounds a bit clueless 2bh and the fact he said he thinks it might be off a 2003 model made me even more sceptical, but he's assured me it's def a 182 axle.
I know they're thicker than the 172 but wouldn't imagine that's too...
oooo this is CC-UK turf on a thursday night! Bring your blunt instruments imo!
Providing the clio is fixed I'll be meeting up with a few of you men, like I said though there's usually a few of us on there anyway, all decent lads though and no halfords tat.
I know what you mean with the mid-corner bumps but think it's pretty un-avoidable, only larger tyres could dampen it slightly but you're always going to get that hopping type sensation
Same here mate, all was going well, put on a stone in like 3 month then lost motivation and just been going to maintain current level rather than keep pushing
Prob why it's only took him a week to fill your clio full of holes and scrapes :(
How's the gym going mate? Not been for 2 1/2 weeks now due to the car and feel v.sh1t for it, if you're at jjb we should start combining our sessions, I go warrington one say thursdays, you go wigan tuesdays...
My system seems to fit a bit too far inside the bumper, it's on a standard cat, anybody else had this issue?
This is the only pic I really have that has an angle on the exhaust, if you look closely you can see the tip is sat about 1/2 inch behind the bumper
Best off just using a squeegy mate, not a fan of using chamis myself, prob worse than sponges for swirl marks, bit of water mark don't really make any difference, just go over it with a micro fibre cloth before you wax it (if you're not polishing)
O thanks alot lol, I go down to screwfix on a thursday which is opposite royal mail... but there's never anybody else about apart from us and I don't drive it like a 'ball bag'
Besides you know if it was me, RED WHEELS!
I shall illustrate!
Rear bumper on clio's just look out of place when they're slammed, where as on the corsa the body work follows it round and looks alot more suited, just my opinion mind!
I'd suggest you just ring up and lie 2bh, give your date of birth to suit the age you'll be at that time, same with license and driving experience, might go up or down a few pounds when it comes to the month but it gives you an idea
