Quick update on the car's progress and it's not good. The TDC Sensor did nothing to fix the stalling issues and i've also replaced the throttle body since. The car has also had a diagnostic check at Renault and that came back with no faults.
So i've had enough of replacing parts in the hope it...
That how my stealth was when it was first fitted.
Then Fred refitted it for me so it was right up behind the bumper. But because i had a slight cut out from the old exhaust Mark Fish cut some off the end so it's hardly visible now.
A few things, firstly me not knowing the camera settings very well. Also the location, it wasn't a great position and the road was a bit too quiet.
Was playing with the settings and took this shot
So then i decided to turn around and try some shots of the road
If i'd had more time i...
Never had much luck with night shots, so thought i'd give them another go.
Still not anywhere the standard of other photography on here but they're better than i've managed before. I really need to start using my camera more often, i've had it over a year now and barely ever use it.
Glad i...
Got to admit i don't actually know.
They came off Mike at Rentech's car, he fitted them and they were left at about half way i think (he couldn't do too much because one of the CompBrake top mounts had seized !)
So i took it to Mark Fish, got him to fit a set of his top mounts and had it setup...
Hopefully the TDC sensor will fix the stalling issues, so hopefully i can get back in touch with Henk and get the mapping finished. Then i can really get my monies worth out the Schrick cams.
A few more updates this weekend. I fitted my new renault battery a few weeks ago, because the previous one (Halfords) was too long for the Ph1 airbox to be correctly fitted.
Jobs Done :
Brake Ducts
Alarm relocated
Ph1 Airbox moved
New CAF
New TDC Sensor
Acoustic Valve Removed
Back to Silver...
I'm in Strood and am often driving around Rochester and Gravesend aswell.
Should be easy to spot, Silver 172 with Black Wheels, 'S17 TWO' plate and CS sticker in the back window.
Thanks for the comments, glad people agree with losing the orange and carrying on the black and silver theme.
Still needs more mapping but it feels much better. Hopefully i'll get it on a rolling road in the new year and see what difference they've made.
Got my car back from Mark Fish last night along with a nice long list of jobs completed. Had it serviced, aux belt changed, drive shaft gaitor replaced, a set of top mounts, suspension setup and a few other bits. Can't fault the work he did and i would recommend him to anyone. I had to take it...
Doesn't look like they sell them anymore, they must have been replaced by these ones
