Good news!
Last week Sky and Virgin came to an agreement over their channels and distribution. Sky will show Virgin channels, and Virgin will show Sky (including Sky One).
Think they said the channels will be back hopefully before Christmas but no firm date as far as I know yet.
Some nice sets hear...I have some nice TVs at home but old Sony surround. Need a new one, a Br player and better connectivity between all my devices really, want to get the PC involved in it all but not really sure how yet.
Excellent. I actually work for Renault UK and had a meeting with the guy who organised this. Someone else in the department questioned if the event was money welll spent but if people who own and love RenaultSport enjoyed the car, and may convince people who currently do not even know about...
Yet ANOTHER pair of headphones has broken, so need some more. Don't have to be amazing, just comfortable, stays in my ears, reasonably loud and robust.
Any recommendations most gratefully received!!! Cheers
I'm struggling to sell my 172...had plenty of "ooh thats a nice car" but no one stumping up for it. Not even for the £5,300 asking price which is about £500 less t han I should be able to get for it.
Any interest let me know :D
No I did copy off most the stuff and transfer it to my other HDD don't worry, not that much of a tard, but couldn't fit quite everything on there, and to be honest would much rather this one just worked!
I will try changing the cables then and see if that has any effect...just so annoying...
Basically, I have an 80gb external HDD on my laptop which is about 3 years old now which I use to store music and photo files. It hasn't skipped a beat in all the time I owned it until I came home from uni and not really used my laptop or the HDD - but when I have since tried using it, the HDD...
Not sure there will be many kind souls who would do it for free mate, it is quite a long and boring job, only is satisfying once you are done. Making some money however is a lot more satisfying lol. You could save yourself some money though by washing and claying your car before anyone details...
Yeah just gets the worst of the muck off for a quicker and safer shampoo afterwards. Does its job well but you will still need to give it a "normal" shampoo with mit afterwards still.
^ I wouldn't bother personally, snow foam is designed to be used this way, Gold Class isn't...although having said that I have mixed some with Megs Shampoo Plus and that left a slightly slicker feeling, in my imagination at least anyway!
It's like a plastic film, but doesn't look that great in my eyes and the amount it costs probably cheaper just to get it resprayed every few years if it bothers you that much. Personally on a Clio I wouldn't bother though.
It depends...you normally dilute it something like 4:1 with water which isn't too strong, worth a try though as once break dust burns onto an alloy it can sometimes be nigh on impossible to remove it.
As above, but 3 bucket method just to be on the safe side.
Foam lance in action:
You can also foam a second time and then use the mit and shampoo with that if you want although don't do that myself. Definitely worth buying although they do still seem expensive for what they actually are...
I really like Vista, works well and quickly. Touch wood the system hasn't stalled or crashed once yet.
As for Bill Gates, you can't hate him just because he has done (VERY VERY VERY) well for himself - we are the ones buying Windows after all.
I am not a Windows fan but kind of anti-Apple as...
Also I used to reapply sealant and or wax to my car virtually every week, which in hindsight is just pointless.
If I could just choose one set of products to keep my car looking great and I like using it would be:
Snow foam with wax
Megs shampoo plus (think this is great value for the money)...
Is it at the start you have problems, as I get this with mine and it is a Karcher connection. I just spray it a few times with the bottle of foam off so as not to waste any and after about 30 seconds or so it works absolutely fine. Not sure what the problem is but it works anyway. Maybe try this?
Have to say I have calmed down recently...not even cleaned my car for 3 weeks now which is a bit of a record. When I do it I do it well and enjoy it but at one point I was pretty much spending a whole day a week on my car and then anyone elses and found that was a bit too much time really.
I...
Agree with that, wheels let it down a bit I think Ed. I would also consider modifying or even removing the rear spoiler, a cup or even V6 spoiler would look MUCH better in my opinion and could transform the look of the whole car.
Are there any interior mods then or not?!
^ Rubbish, it's absolutely fine. Think some people mistake it with TFR or something, it may degrade it if you used it every day for a couple of months but have had no problems with it stripping LSPs off cars.
