well at least i got the revs thing sorted! yeah it could be the heat shield ill have to have a look but what does a broken cat sound like?sounds like the airs not flowing properly really weird

ive got a mk1 clio 1.4s and when i hit 30,000-35,000 revs theres a really weird crackerly noise coming from probly near the catalytic converter!what ever gear im in it will do it in this rev range. ive just had a ss exhaust fitted but this is only the back box so i dont fink it should effect...

can i have some advice to which is better, eg ive heard that an induction kit needs alot of cold air to keep it running well is this true?and are they hard to fit?also does an air filter element like piperx provide a small amount of noise? which is better for a mk1 1.4 s?

monaco blue is the best colour for the clean clio thats what ive got and i fink its wikid when its polished properly i think i got one of the only mk1 which came out the factory monaco and its only 1.4!cant afford 16v!

hello just been down the scrap yard they have got a mk1 phase3 rsi with skirts on he sed £60 for the 2 Can someone tell me if they come off clean with screws or are they bonded,also has anyone fitted these to a standard 1.4 mk1 phase 3 clio cos it looks like u need to drill holes in the sills?

long nose pliers and a pair of mole grips mite do it depening on the tightness of the wheel nut!but get a good pair of pliers done it at work before but not with an air gun!good luck

i got exactly the same car as u i think, and my clutch has gone cos it judders every time i pull away from a junction.what uv sed above mine does that when i turn the steering wheel it revs up and sometimes it revs loads wen i touch the accelerater really gently!crazy renaults!

Got a mark1 phase 3 1.4 should i go for a genuine renault clutch cable or do i go for a normal one from halfords or summit?getting clutch done next week!

i had a concept 300 cat1 fitted wikid alarm to my mk1 clio but theres a little wire which hangs down under the dash (passenger footwell) wot is this?it looks similar to a usb connection but not sure any ideas>?
