Windows media player normally uses codecs from other dvd playing software.. like windvd etc.
If that was uninstalled its possible media player will no longer play dvd's aswell.
Dunno what happend with you but ive never had any probs.. certainly nothing that takes more than a minute to resolve ?
Put it this way.. My 55 year old mum has been using ubuntu for the last 2 months.. (to be honest I dont actually think she noticed I changed it lol) but she would always ask...
You may have a problem then as your Ipod is formated according to the OS. Eg. windows itunes = fat32 Ipod... dont know if mac read fat32 ? i would assume they do ?
If you plug it into a PC that is already synced with another Ipod it WILL try to wipe your Ipod. Not too sure what happens if you plug it into a new pc though.
I highly doubt it would just wipe it. You would be prompted before it did anything to your ipod.
If you could give the prices for each option, and present the mathematics for calculations then it would be a piece of piss to code.
But you would need to use ajax to do the page updates or at least javascript otherwise the page would need to reload each time they picked an option. You could do...
Not if she had a wireless router. Its more likely to be file sharing or terminal services as mentioned above as that is the error they throw up when someone has mapped a drive to their computer etc.
Ah, I had a look on the adobe forums. Apparantly adobe havent implemented transparancy in the linux plugin yet.
Not your fault bud. Stupid Adobe's fault.

if your on a company network for example.. they will know exactly what your doing.. the best thing you could do would be change your DNS servers to publick ones (not teh companies) and use an SSL proxy so even the data transfered will be encrypted.
The facts..
CRT still suffer from screen burn, but it would have to be a static image for a loooooong time.. have a look at some old atm's and you will see burn in on their crt monitors
LCD's can suffer image retention as the pixels can get stuck.. it is however unlikely and is the least...
Yes, but atleast they wouldnt be blurry. Which is what he is trying to stop. On a compact the flash will have two levels.
Off
and blind everyone in sight.
If you get a decent camera the flash can be used at various levels, reducing that "caught in the headlights" look ;)
Could be anything.. were you grounded when you were doing all this swapping of boards etc ?
I dont think the processor could have cause it unless there was something wrong with the processor itself (like a short).
Its got nothing to do with the megapixels of your camera. In simple terms it all about the level of light.. more light = quicker shutter.
In a situation like that you would have to use a flash to supplement the amount of light.
PS. I did say in simple terms.
Dont listen to scutch... he is lying !!
You can fix this !! All you need to do is prise the @ and " keys off the keyboard and put them the other way round
;)
