Dont you just leave the standard ECU in place for that sort of thing? Or is that just on the 172? Its how mine is....

I run the DTH on my 172, with Managment done by Jamsport. Might be worth giving them a bell, as they will be more than happy to sort fitting etc i imagine. They did for mine :)

I did notice when i took my plugs out last night they wer not very tight, very easy to undo. All 4 of them were like this, would this have any effect?

Will the managment be able to tell what the fault is? I imagine the normal OBII port will still work, i dont know if im getting lights on the dash, as they are on anyway due to the managment.

No idea re Map, how could i test TPS and where is this located?

Thing that makes no sense is i can do 140 in 5th gear with no problems, not missing a beat, but as soon as i go over 7k in any gear, it kills the power, and will just keep running the engine but wont let me rev unless i turn it off and back on again.

Minimum of 12 months musnt be reffering to your actual length of contract. Sounds like you are on an 18. Any way of getting a copy of the agreement you signed?

Did it again tonight :( Changed my spark plugs at the same time i changed the battery, anything to do with spark plugs? Runs fine unless you take it above 7k. Cuts power, but car is still running, turn it off and back on again and its fine again?..........
