Never used one... I use the auto glym synthetic high asorber (or whatevea its called) for drying. Have done for years and like so havent bothered changing)
did the follwing mate:
1. Meguiars shamppo.... (pink one, lol)
2. Megs Clay and detailing spray
3. Poorboys 2.5SSR
4. Megs scratch X applied by hand to hairline sracthes
5. Menzerna-finishing touch glaze
6. autoglm vinyl care
7. megs high gloss tyre
8. autoglm galss polish.

This is my mums KA sport. Never been polished in its 2.5yr life. Last washed about 6months ago:o lol Results are amazing... took me 4.5 hrs on the paintwork alone. The number of hairline scratches that have been removed is fantastic.....
Pleased. Now off to do a MK4 Golf with ben_p...

yeh that times about right for me!! my reg starts in EN52 mate...(rare aroun here as is an essex plate) Not seen you mate. There are only 100 recao'd CTRs in the phase1 shape so good chance its me. Aint seen you mate.... but im usually singing away and not paying any attention. lol
sounds better than before... but im still confused.... they want more money even though youve paid a policy up front. I would speak/write to the FOS for advice. Very odd.

I would imagine around the 10k mark being right. I got 11k for my 182 which was a 2005/54, but elephant...
Can totally appreciate what your saying....hence why we are trying the other cars and want to learn the selction of polishes... etc to use. I have delibrately tried to start with some cars for different paint finishes and manufacturers.

It was a learning process, at first i think we where putting to much product on and as we went on, we learned processes to spread the polish more evenly. Also got a feel for which pads to use and the...
for those who are interested (and any advice appreciated) we did the following:
1. meguiars detailer and clay bar
2. Poorboys SSR2.5 applied with orange sonus pad
3. meguiars NXT with blue sonus pad.
4. autoglym glass polisher
5 meguiars tyre polish (name escapes me)
I have order some...
