my car is crunchin in reverse badly, its not the usual Clio crunch bcos even if i select first, first, it still does it and its worse than that
it started to do it a few weeks ago and im pretty sure my clutch is on its very last legs, however i had the gear box oil changed and everythin was...
well Malice is right, durin the day, and in a Clio, the Alpine displays are VERY poor
but ive got used to mine, i mean the quality and power make up for it, i dont sit lookin at the HU, i DO sit listenin to the music
ill be needin some speaker cable once my amp comes so whats best ?
ill be gettin Autoleads stuff i think from work, should i get the biggest diameter i can or will it not matter that much ?
my car isnt a competition car its simply my car that i drive an jus listen to my cds in !!!!
i think 6x9s in the back would be too much bass, so sod those
ill either get a set of components or some coax, probably some coax as they will be cheaper, and as mentioned the backs arent really...
they dont buzz at all mate, ive listened quite a lot, as i was listenin out for it
now a customer we had, had some Kenwood 6x9s in the rear and his did it BADLY...........he had 2 x 12" JBL subs
rang Alpine an they said they have never had a complaint yet about the screens being too dim, always too bright !!
mine couldnt be too bright if it tried !!
well my mate has got a Planet Audio 12" in his boot which is pretty powerful an his JBL 6x9s on the shelf dont distort/vibrate cos of the sub at all it sounds pretty good IMO.............
do NOT put castrol GTX into your Clio............its a basic mineral oil, very cheap stuff
as said before get a fully synthetic 5W-40 like Elf/Total/Shell/Triple R.........or Mobil 1 0W-40
right im gettin my 5 channel amp soon an im gettin Alpine Type R components for the front, and a Type R sub for the boot
ive currently got Kicker 6x9s in the back shelf but i was thinkin of maybe puttin some coax in instead..........
what you think ?
yea but i really expected better of Alpine, i mean yea i did buy it for the sound, i do like the look of it but it wasnt the looks i bought it for
its a big let down to be honest and i was about to kit out my whole car in alpine equipment............hmmmm
right i need this head unit brighter, in the day at the moment its far too dim
ive figured out i need the dimmer set to manual an i can do that, but once its in manual how do you adjust it like up or down ?
right that 12v wire i need to hook up to the battery, it has a little fuse holder on it, with a small 20A blade fuse in it..........
so are u sure i need a 5A ?......for the one near the battery
so all i need is some wire, fuse holder and fuse, and some connectors yea
the earth it has ive sorted with Malice on its location.....
is there anythin else im likely to come across/need with this HU ?
no mate this headunit has a seperate 12v wire which it states MUST be connected directly to the battery..........
i think most if not all of the 60W alpines have it....
been talkin to Malice on MSN............an i will need a fuse near the battery too......does anyone know what amp fuse i...
