Looks like I got some surface rust coming beggining to come through the rear arches on my mk1 :/ Does anyone know much much it costs to get them properly repaired??

I only need to tint one window tho as the rest have already been done. Does anyone know a rough price it would usually cost to tint a dvrs door window??

As far as im aware - the 1.8 16v comes with a 4-2-1 manifold as standard so I doubt you would notice any difference with the K-tec one on there. As for the leads - I doubt you would notice any difference either. I wouldnt bother with an induction kit as you would probably lose power. Try keeping...

I was just wondering if you use the standard Renault engine mounts or if you uprate them at all?? Also how much power can the standard engine mounts take??

Im thinking of maybe getting some back ones for my Clio but I hear stories saying they gone give off much light. Im not fussed about the sidelights as hardly use them but what are the main beams like with these lights fitted?? Also is it possible to HID the main lights at all??

lots and lots when I get the money to. 2.0 8v bottom end, 4-2-1 manifold, de-cat, standard airbox and sorting the exhuast out, re-map, cams and looking into the volvo turbo route possibly along with a poss gearbox re-furb and uprating the clutch. Wanna sort out suspension, wheels and brakes...

its a mates garage and they know someone who speciallises in the work, they used to build drag bikes etc in the 70's so have alot of knowledge of engines etc

Got it done when I got the headgasket done as im no longer doing an engine transplant I was planning to do. Anyway enough with me waffling on...

Decat I would also like to mentioned gasflowing and porting the head and manifolds but aint driven the car yet to see what the difference is lol

I had the same prob with mine. Mine light up sometimes but were off most of the time. Try checking the bulbs, cleaning up the connections a bit making sure theres no dirt or anything on the connectors

my rsi was around 650 ish at a guess but having other stuff done so is gonna me more like 1k for me lol

K&N do a 57i induction kit for the engine. Get some tubing from Halfords and route a feed to where a foglamp goes and your there (should cost under 100 quid)
