To be honest, its not going to be the car which is limiting factor for most people anyway... common saying in motorsport; "there is tenths in setup, seconds in the driver"

Clio cup rules (as others) you must race in the car you qualify in... other wise everyone on the grid must sign a piece of paper agreeing to the change. Between meetings you can swap cars as much as you like, I could buy a new one for each meeting if I had the money!

Also in motorsport, once you cheat and get caught.... every single bit of success you have there after (regardless if its legit or not) with be branded due to cheating. Not. Worth. It.

Cheating happens in every form of motorsport.... this shouldn't be the "hot topic" of this championship, otherwise people will keep banging on about it during the season. Just trust Tony and the guys running it will do their job properly (which I KNOW they will). Sooo lets steer this more...

Not worth it mate, especially as people will forget all regards for their own safety to find an extra 10th. I prob wont even run camber bolts to be honest!

The easiest way to do it... if someone is cheating... they WILL get caught. Its only a matter of time. When they are caught, ban them for a number of meetings (dependant on the severity of cheating and up to the discretion of the scuits)

I don't think you have quite understood what I meant... Obviously everyone cares about winning, otherwise they wouldn't do it.... No one else (i.e. touring car teams) is going to think "wow he must be one hell of a driver for winning a standard clio race"......

If it was forced sell for 5k.. And I was intending on cheating (being scum).. I'd get a shitter and bang a 3k engine in it... Still be in pocket. Nice idea, but it won't work IMO

You can't apply rules into the regs about selling cars, won't work. The ONLY way this will work, is if we start it and develop regs as we go. Everyone is trying to make this so competitive.... It won't be. It's FUN. If you want to race for ego boosting points, go race something else... Where...

Swap engines around between competitors ;) Whatever happens someone will pour big bucks into this series... It happens in every series, but I guarantee they won't be the ones winning. It's all about how well it is policed.

Bargain. Sign me up. Stuff like battery/location should be free. Someone fitting a dry cell would be a good thing, but all cars need a minimum Weight for sure
