With the FPR part in place this injector isn't sitting square.
No use for it on 182 so chopped ..
it then measured this distance to determine tube length required (excuse the old calipers). I ended up with this.
I also noticed that the bolt holes on the runners and the bolt hole...
Yeah, showing up the rest of the bay now! More for the never ending list.
Mapping is this friday but i won't have figures as its being road mapped.
I have various spare engine parts which are gathered ready to paint and swap over at some point.
Yes, I'll likely cut that bracket out too at some point. I'll be moving the battery at a later stage so will do it then. I have 3 solid engine mounts do I'm not expecting much movement to cause problems in the short term, the offset filter flange helped. How is yours going?
Mine is in and up and running, not quite 100% happy yet - still a couple of small bits to change, mainly the cone positioning and tubing but all running great. Also need to sort a bracket for the ECU. No mapping yet. I'll get a guide together soon as I can.
These are the plugs I have ordered - should be here tomorrow and I will confirm if they fit correctly. http://fuelperformance.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=367_685_807&product_id=5383 EV1 female to EV1 male.
I chopped 3cm off the coolant pipe, I don't have a welder.
I plan to put...
I'd say one of the springs holding the front pads in has dislodged or fallen out. That would give give a little possible movement in the pads and click if its catching on something.
Smashed mine on a targa rally sometime back, stopped at a check point a few seconds after the impact, got my signature and floored it off up the gravel track, up to second, looked in mirror and saw bellows of smoked, pulled over, turned her off, empty within a minute. New sump and gasket, shes...
These injector plugs are on a spare Williams loom I have.
This is using these plugs and the injector correctly seated.
So still a bit off. This is why.
There is actually a bit more clearance than it looks in this pic - maybe 1mm.
EDITED: Either use one of these in the bracket, cut to fit, secure & drill a hole.

Or powerflex now supply an insert for 3 times the price.
Don't buy the standard (genuine or not) rear exhaust mounts as they just fall apart. Get lemforder rod ends and ball joints from euro and just cheap rear disks and pads as they don't do a lot anyway.
Yes, and with the clasps in place the available movement is minimal.
As there are 4 holes for the spray, I'm wondering if that would that mean you get the same spray pattern if they are rotated through any mulitple of 90deg? Unless each hole sprays at a different exit angle I can't see why a...
How have people got round the injector plugs clearance issues (which applies to all 4)?
This pic shows the angle of the injector when it sits square on the seat.
But its twisted so the metal clip can't engage in the hole.
If you twist it back to where it can engage, then the connector plug...
Distance from TB to filter flange is around 150mm, currently I've ordered 100mm silicone hose and 100mm ally joiner, both straight, I'm hoping the offset on the filter will allow for any adjustments necessary but if that doesn't work then the custom hose group buy sounds good to me too...
I've been searching through various filters to use, I prefer the K&N gauze type. The largest I have found, which would fit between headlight and battery, with an offset flange is this one (it looks angled but it isn't) - couldn't find an appropriate one with an angled flange which I would have...
Yeah, I've toyed with the idea of going up north for it but its a bit of a mission and I've also come to see that a lot of race/car tuning/modifying etc. is experimental, you've got to take risks here and there, try new things out. Hopefully this will give Dan the opportunity to have a play...
I'm fitting. I've spoken to Chris at EFi, I have to send my ECU to him to have the RSTuner map removed (which was a waste of time to begin with really, did nothing except ruin my already fine idle - contrary to popular folklore). I have an Autosolo in Farnborough on May 8th so the next day I'll...
To save clogging up the actual for sale/group buy thread currently active, I've created this one for updates from people when they receive, fit, map theirs etc or questions.
Mine is currently in transit and I should be arranging mapping today with dan@ sjm, fitting in 10 days time, then mapping...
