lol, I mean people who I know etc. Who live near me. My mates like practical jokes. I can't see you guys driving god knows how many miles to 'pike' my plates, so I feel relatively safe in letting it be known on here. :P
lmao @ 'pike them'. Yea but you don't go round saying 'my plates are stuck on with velcro' do ya? :) I'm not going to tell anyone really, best to keep quiet about it. The velcro is bloody good tho, takes your body weight to remove them. lol.
Well yeah, there's obviously gonna be more variants and I can wait to see them. I agree with you on the marketing, Renault are good at it. My point is that it has to be perceived as a better car in order for someone to buy one, and a lot of people just aren't convinced. Buying one just because...
Does anyone know the exact weight of the Cup with AC added.
No speculation please, I want hard facts! And I'm abondoning this thread after page one, so no argueing ffs.
Thanks.
The point is mate, a lot of us already own a 172/182 variant, so we're obviously going to compare the 197 to what we already have because, let's face it, if we are going to upgrade to a new car it surely has to be better, otherwise what's the point?

I very much doubt it to be honest. The law is obviously more centred around the lettering and spacing issues. Plus it's not hard for a stick-on number plate to go un-noticed.
Yea but you've got a different font. All's I'm saying is, if I had a completely legit looking number plate, whether it was stuck on with screws, velcro or the power of prayer shouldn't make a blind bit of difference. Not taking into consideration the fact that you probably wouldn't notice the...
Thanks for the replies. I'm not going to do any crazy spacing or whatever, I don't even have a private plate. I just want a normal number plate without the screw holes. :)
I can't see me getting pulled for that.
Yea, so I thought I'd call in Renault just on the off-chance they'd have one in, and they did. Had a sit inside, then asked for a test drive.
He took a few details off me and off we went, my brother jumped in the back so we were 3 up. First things that I noticed were that the steering is...
