I looked into the bigger throttle body and found out test have been done with no gains to be had..
Inlet manifold have been tested and you do get a small gain but for £300 ints not worth it, I can port a inlet for half that but you won't get it back powder coated.
Picked up the head from the machine shop after its skim.
Just waiting for the valves now then recut the seats.
Looking into the plug thread modifications for you, maybe its a little overkill but as long as you torque them to standard spec it will be fine
Only to work out the compression ratio on Clio heads but if I do work to them like valve shrouding, smoothing, highly polish or any work to the chambers etc then I will cc them to balance the chambers.
I ask everyone thats having there head done to send me some seals as they normally get a head gasket set to refit the head..
I always fit new seals to every head i do..
A little bit more on your head, All the inlet ports and now done and finished, Been working on a Ford 2.3 head for Mosley's Garage so i've been taking my time with Scotts but he doesn't mind as we are still waiting for the valves
Just done a Ph2 head and i can say that i much prefer these heads if you plan on modifying one, The Ph1 head will give good power but with a loss of torque, A Ph2 head has smaller exhaust ports and respond better to head work as the port size is smaller thus keeping gas speed up.
