    Got delivery of Scotts head today Its been stripped and inspected, going in for x-ray tomorrow to make sure there isn't any cracks, They don't normally get cracked but its alway good to make sure Standard ports Big gouge in the head face but i'm sure it will skim out

    The head had just come out if the parts washer so that why it looks so shiny and polished. It shouldn't look like that when you get it back.

    All heads are like this, its just a little CNC machining to finish of the casting This is not a ported head

    Mine are a copy of a CNC heads by Rick woods as I bought a damaged one cheap from someone for a friend for bench mark for myself. It's been tested by a friend that borrow a flow bench from and it's the same as a CNC heads head. I don't keep the test results myself as it's just a tool to make...

    I always finish of the ports with a 60 grit for the inlet and 80 grit for exhaust. no polishing at all. No gains and no point. All guides are de burred and cleaned up after.
