The Plenum & fuel rail guard have gone in for polishing today - decided on polished letting with a grain effect background to keep it OEM looking(ish ) and then polished bottom half. For fuel guard i've gone for polished top with the bits in between having a grain effect to break it up a bit...

P.s - If theres anyone with PHOTOSHOP that can show how it might look polished up ( if thats possible ) I would be most grateful !

I've got an Alpina IDA-X305 and had it fitted in my clio 182 which works fine the only thing that is annoying is that I bought an adapter from someone on the Trophy website which was an alpine product ( there was even pics of it working in the car with the same stereo! ) I took it to get it...

I've got a spare plenum and fuel guard rail on its way which i bought off e-bay from a member on here so I'm gonna get those parts polished up to finish it off and yeah I'll be getting the sticker to go on it . . Dont spose anyones got one of those stickers for sale ? :D

I'm swaying towards the polished look . . I know its been done time and time before but it just looks so good when you lift the bonnet! As soon as i've had the plenum done i'll be putting some pics on to keep this thread updated.

i've got the dark grey wheels on the car so could do a dark grey plenum and then polish over the lettering after to make it stand out. Should go to a local meet sometime really to see the different stuff everyones done to their cars - sometimes its not the same seeing it in pics.

Gonna give the bay a clean up and put it on 2moro but the inlet will let it down a bit :( only cost £40 to get it sprayed so not too bad

Just had my engine cover sprayed in Racing blue but just to be different I thought I'd get the stripes painted on as well to match the car.. What does everyone think? Not sure what to do with the inlet now, either paint it black with polished writing or have it polished? - opinions please ...

Nice car! looks really tidy. Whats the exhaust system like? is it loud or still ok to live with everyday? I like the black detailing with the badges and the side repeaters. Whats the eibach springs like to drive with?

Yeah! its exactly the same as the noise in the video . . . it will do it for a little bit when its first started and then it will get quieter and then stop altogether. Not sure what it means though. The aux belt was definately changed, the garage is right next door and they are pretty good...

I had the aux belt, tensioners and the cambelt replaced at the beginning of feb but the it still did it before i had that done when i first bought the car i january. I dont think the dephaser was replaced at the the same time but not sure if this needed to be done?

Ah right, I bought my clio only down the road from you from A1 Sports performance. The week after they had a 182 in with recaros in :dapprove: but think i prefer the racing blue.
