I have a few of the Autoglym ones - find they work really well, use them for the wheels and arches of my GTi and use them exclusively on my 306. Can dry the car much quicker than with a drying towel as long as you have washed and rinsed the car well.
On paintwork I care about looking A1 though...
All much of a muchness - I stick with the Eurows just because they are well priced.

The EGP is the sealant, you may get a lightly warmer look using a wax over it. Standalone the Extra Gloss Protection will look good though and be durable.
The EGP may be a pain to use as it is cold and damp out, will probably need at least an hour before removal at this time of year. If you can...
I find myself using these at the moment - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/miracle-dryer-ultra-plush-25-x-36-/prod_362.html
Seem to be more ideal when using AG Aquawax too.
Claying is a once a year process for me, depends on where you park the car and how much contamination it picks up, if it still feels gritty after a wash then it will need claying.
Proper polish, once a year, light polish/paint cleaner and applying sealant 2-3 times a year. Wax - well I like it...
I would do it a little at a time, using as little water as possible.
Spray a small amont of Autogylm degreaser on a chosen area, agiate with a soft brush for a few seconds to start it working, rinse of with a small amount of water or even better just a damp cloth, dry as best you can with a...
Never had a problem with Menzerna guess I am just use to it and nothing else I have tried yet comes close. Will get some 3M when the Menz runs low. I found the Megs 83 more of a pain tbh.
The Poorboys SSR range are the easiest to use, but don't produce the same results as the Menzerna.
Ag Metal Polish will not be to harsh but will not finish down to the best shine, I tend to use it first then use Autoglym Suer Resin to refine down to a higher gloss.
The clay will strip anything on there so no need to use anything more.
As far as getting a machine polisher, no matter how good you think it looks with an application of SRP and EGP, it will look a hell of alot better with a machine polish. Aside from how many swirls and defects it has you can...
lol no probs Gem.
