They are yes - One set are being changed for something else this season (Pagids I think), I will save the used DS2500's from the bin for you if they still have any meat on them if I can.
They go under 15's on the race car but are very close (Speedlines) and they are wheel style dependent to if...
Feels composed on long sweepers just sits there - only feels nervous when really stamping on the brakes very very hard in straight line.
Oh cool - I do need the bracket that holds the ecu to the inner wing if you still have that ?
Cheers xxx
Cheers - The shocks are getting changed for Billies as soon as I have some spare beer tokens Dave, will have a look at the load valve, as you really can feel it wag it's tail when standing on the middle peddle. x
You knowsit mate - I throughly enjoyed the half a tank of Vpower I used on my...
Duragloss 901 out of all the shampoo I own and have tried it surpasses them all. Cleans well, produces a really slick wash solution and gives an awesome finish. I do use Hyper Wash to, but only for wheels and arches as the dilution ration is so fantastic.
Is an option Si it has been lost from the racecar - must admit the thought has crossed my mind, only time it is useful is when getting it back in the garage !
They are bad but I have driven on worse - even when pushing hard they seem to have plenty of bite which is odd, I expected them to understeer on the front but they don't - only time they move around is under heavy braking at the back on uneven surfaces it likes to wag the tail a touch ...
The 182 has bags more grip, but it will do 205 profile runner compared to 185 on the GTi. 106 turns so much better, feels more alive and so small and nimble - chuck it through some tight and twisty turns and it makes a Clio feel huge and cumbersome. Grip levels don't mean a car handles better...
Went out at 2ish with camera in the boot not knowing where I would end up, as the petrol light came on a I turned back home and got lucky with the light.
No probs - had the same problem here before, I purposely don't sheet the water off so well with the hose no and leave the panels a bit wetter when I know I am going to use it.
You using it on dryish panels if so it is hardwork, liberal spray onto a wet panel and it is no different to drying the car without it using a large plush drying towel ? First time i used it the panels where almost dry and I found the same problem.
Drives well Iain, made decent power on the rollers a few weeks, back skirms around a bit under heavy braking but hoping that will be improved once it is lowered and is running some better rubber.
Managed to resist a beer at lunch and go out for a mid afternoon run in the 106. Nice run out, with some nice blue skies and quiet roads. Half a tank of VPower later it was home time !
A few snaps from the afternoon.
A few more here for anyone intrested -...
The results wont be as noticeable as if it was riddled with defects but the swirls aside I really think the depth of gloss you will get by machine and some menzerna final finish would change you mind.
Have you seen the car on a bright summers day yet ? - all those marks you currently only see...
I think you will be genuinely surprised at the level of gloss that you will get from a machine polish, I was the most skeptical person in the world but you really cannot burnish the paint to the same level by hand as you can with machine. Same for defect correction what a machine can do in mins...
