You need the SFX if you want to put multiple coats on it one day, and it does mean it will allow the Z2 or Z5 to cure quicker.
I have a few coats on the 106 at the moment but am not 100% convinced on the looks so will be topping it with a wax.
Incorrect - rubbish! There are cars in both the Special GT's and Saloons there are and have been road legal. A trailer just means it is easy to get home after lol
Obviously if you want to drive the car there it needs tax and mot ....
Simon Norris arrived at Combe in his Evo on Trade plates on...
lol @ the spline chat ! Take the bars out and do it properly none of the notches bullshit.
Back needs to come up for sure.
Mine is lightly nose down, 30mm front springs (lowered 28mm if you want to be really precise!) and the back dropped exactly the same to match...
You need so little Menzerna, I would get the 250ml bottles, especially as they are always tweaking the formula, saves you being stuck with out of date stuff.
Depends on the wax - something like Megs #16 where a thin coat is required then a finishing pad makes life much easier. Most other waxes on my shelf are applied by hand though.
Re: AG shampoo is s**te
I was not that impressed with the Britemax, have gone back to Duragloss 901.
The AG cleans welll and gives a nice finish but not one for a sud lover.
The Leather Care always go to glossy for my liking, does not give the same O.E look as Zaino or Einszett.
As for AG, never stopped using it and never will, buy most the products in 5 litre sizes.
Staple products for me are
Super Resin Polish (Radiant Wax)
Extra Gloss Protection (Liquid...
Almost BOS looks, but not as durable. Better option than anything else in that price range though.
The AG HD wax is ok, nothing special and is hard to use compared to other waxes.
Depends on how much you want to spend.
FK1000P (Technically a paste sealant but looks good)
Victoria Concours
Swissvax Onyx
Swissvax Best of Show
Are my 4 choices.
Wash - Duragloss 901 with Eurow Wash Mitt
Wax - Victoria Concours
Interior - wipe down with Ag Interior Shampoo, dress with Poorboys Natural Look
Should be under budget, but you will ned to use a couple of traders as no one sells both Duragloss and Vic afaik.
I agree with you on the wet performance, though the R's are much better than the S.
Trackday comment is pap though ! As others have said they are fine on track, side walls roll over no more than Exalto's or F1's when you get the pressures right, we ran them all year on the Racecar in the Castle...
