172 injectors, big open air filter, protoxide decat (wasn't on when mapped) ktec cat back and a big front mount intercooler. 145bhp 147lbft at 13/14psi. Driven daily and you wouldn't think it was anything other than factory. except for the fact it flies for a 1.1 engined car
why wouldn't a 1.2 go much past 66k? you would be lucky to get much over 150bhp tbh. the turbo doesn't really have it in it. I can't comment to much on longevity bit though. I've done 2k+ now on mine. daily driving 50 miles and I like to kick it hard a fair bit too and it hasn't let go yet
EFI in Runcorn, Chris recently remaped my twingo gt. final figures in at 145bhp and 147ftlb. FMIC cat back 172 injectors, big fmic and open air filter (y)
cheers for that. i didnt have much bother tbh. removed a few brackets, flipped it upside down, removed one of the dog bone bolts and it pretty much fell out. Sounds properly fruity now (y) hopefully picked up a few extra ponies too.
As above, 7psi normally with up to 9psi on over boost (twingo tce that is but cant see it being different) @Martin_172 did you decat yours, how difficult was it? any pointers?
if you want a relatively cheap upgrade to bigger stoppers you can modify pug 307 calipers a little and bolt them on with 172 280mm disks. i run this on my twingo which is basically a clio front end. i upgraded from the 259mm setup to this.

1 week off today, don't feel like you cant attend if you don't want to go on the dyno, this is a meet up as well. tea coffee and biscuits are on hand for all (y)
Might be just in the areas/circles i mingle in then. Im not saying none are into it these days just alot less than there used to be, im also not saying the ones that are into cars arnt true enthusiasts either? Any one into cars in anyway gets a thumbs up and convo from me (y) just around here or...
Its a tough one tbh, i organise a fair few things for turborenault, and to be honest its hard work these days. Im lucky in the way that i run a daily renault and have an old renault so get to a few different events but getting people to attend and or commit these days is hard. Maybe as we have...
there's a dyno day/coffee meet up on the 2nd of march in Gloucester if any of the west mids lot fancy a little shoot down the M5? https://www.cliosport.net/threads/turborenault-co-uk-southern-rolling-road-day-arc-gloucester.823906/
defo, plenty of time for people to get sorted. Seems really quiet these days for meets, lots of people wanting one but very few coming out of the woodwork
