    iPhone 7

But I just don't understand the point of it? Regardless of who does it. Now we are keeping phones for longer, keeping a battery healthy is more important than before. With wireless charging, every time you want to use the phone you're taking it off charge. I only need to look at my other...

    iPhone 7

Why would you want wireless charging? I was thinking about this at length the other day. The only thing wireless charging does for a phone is make the charging process worse: So you're in bed, put your phone on it's charging pad, a text arrives. You pick up the phone, it stops charging...

    911 turbo

Love the new wheels! I think it's mainly that they're silver. Wasn't a fan of the darker centres in comparison to how fresh silver looks!

Old member back - where can I get a 2.0 conversion done?

Welcome. Buy yourself a 172, sell break it yourself keeping the engine and then ask someone on here to drop it in. Cheapest way to achieve it. It's still mental though given 172's are easily available at a grand.

    Insurance claim issue.

I know it involves a female so it'll be difficult, but can she not just approach this with some logic. Phone the police and state that the insurance company are claiming the fella isn't insured with them, so can they please prosecute for driving with no insurance. If they look into it and...

    Finally Cleaned The BMW Today

Thanks gallister, and thanks again for the wax recommendation. As for knowing nothing about them, it's a dead simple bike really, just got a nice big 1200cc engine with 110bhp, so it's lots of fun!

    Finally Cleaned The BMW Today

Cheers mate, I actually wore a glove (singular) for the wire wool and autosol to bring the exhaust back as new.

    Finally Cleaned The BMW Today

And not the z4.. After 9 Days touring Europe on this beast it was hanging, thought I'd take a few driveway shots and try to capture some of the nice little details, oh and one photo of my exhaust, that took forever to get back to stainless finish with autosol..! Triple and Finnis...

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

It certainly is mate! The monster was the 696, both totally different animals to ride, but overall I far prefer the BMW. I already feel more confident on it than the Ducati and with some practice you can tell you can really get a move on if you want to! I test rode the s1000r as one of the...

The monster looks like it's selling on Sunday mate, got a chap who's coming to see it. Price agreed etc. I've already picked up my new one... really chuffed with it. Off touring next Tuesday.

@gally I finally used that wax you recommended over a layer of triple on the tank of my new bike, properly impressed. The pair together left the tank looking amazing.

    RyG's RB182.

I wouldn't bother with the roof, at all. If you damage the roof skin even slightly it'll but the s**t out of you every time you walk up to the car. Not worth it for the weight equivlant of one big s**t.

    197 Intermittent Starting Problem

Just clean the tdc first, don't do anything else. If it starts it's likely to need changing. They generally respond to being taken out and cleaned for the first few weeks. Another way to check is if you leave it in gear and rock it back and forth a bit, then try and start.

What Was Your First Mobile Phone?

Sharking had to be efficient back then! If you couldn't give her one after 10 messages you had to wait a day to try again.

    iPhone 6 thread.

Jesus. You know they do entire handset replacement for a fee though right? Which is less than that?

    iPhone 6 thread.

Who from? God himself? Considering they'll change the whole handset out for £140 iirc that seems a bit implausible.

What Was Your First Mobile Phone?

Yep one of these for me too. PAYG baby. Then, after only a matter of weeks, some scrote stole it whilst it was in my bag which was acting as a goal post. So I got a replacement: Which my mum got for me on contract because I couldn't afford another phone but my paper round could afford the...

    Daniels Blue 182.

At least it's a cheap and easy fix mate, I'd rather replace a wheel/tyre than have some bodywork done!
