    HANS Device for Trackdays

It makes sense to me, I’d certainly buy one again if I had a car with harnesses. Seems cheap compared to potential spinal cord damage 😂 The number of cars I see advertised with harnesses where they’re incorrectly mounted so the drivers spine gets compressed in a smash still boggles my mind.

    Selling difficulties!!!!

Interest rates aren't kind, Winter is coming (er... I mean Christmas), there's a budget next month where god alone knows what's going to happen, fuel bill hikes have been in the news, all in all it's a tricky time for discretionary spending. Also I think you're in a small market for a car like...

I don’t see how you can lose at that price TBH. Great option for a starter kit.

Coooo! Very nice. I'm definitely happy with my Moza R3, it's a step up from the Logitech G920 for sure. Just need to find the time and motivation to use the damn thing more!

Anyone else get clobbered by the AWS authentication outage this morning? Knocked out our automated monitoring for every customer in North America, so that was a fun 90 minutes until they got it working again 😂

I’ll be selling my G920 soon if that’s any use. It’s very well reviewed, TBH given Fanatec’s current woes the Moza seems like the way to go for me, at least if buying new.

DP is fully digital, so you shouldn’t lose any quality by using a switch box. I’d just pick up something well reviewed from Amazon, they’re cheaper on AliExpress but much easier to do an Amazon return if needed.

Thanks, useful to know. I have some decent SD cards kicking about so I’ll be sure to do that.

For £25 all in I just ordered one of the R36S things from AliExpress. They're selling for more on eBay so if I don't like it.... meh.....

Just ordered the new Moza R3 kit for the XBox. Proper direct drive unit, although only 4nm peak torque. Added the brake pedal upgrade too, not a load cell unit but should still be a step up from what I’ve got now. https://mozaracing.com/product/r3-racing-wheel-and-pedals

    Advice - accident in 2021

It’s standard stuff, as part your insurance contract you agree to assist them with litigation. Technically it’s you who are having legal action taken against you by the third party insurers, so that‘s not a disclaimer but is authorising your ex-insurers to act for you in defending or settling...

    Advice - accident in 2021

Is it just the time delay that’s worrying you? Pretty standard to be asked to give a witness statement if the third party insurer has gone legal on it. What’s sketchy looking about the disclaimer?

Single best thing I’ve added to my rig recently was digging an old portable air conditioner out of a cupboard 😂 It’s in a small room that gets sun almost all day, and a 42” OLED plus the Xbox chucks out a s**t-ton of heat. Still uhming and ahhing over what wheel upgrade to go for. I’m not...

Starlink is a good shout, if expensive. I've been using this for my home internet connection for the last year, can't fault it, 4k streaming, work meetings, all good. Way faster than the poxy fixed line broadband I can get here. I do have a strong 4G signal with EE though. It takes an external...

At our place we couldn't sell our cloud SaaS solution for years, almost everyone wanted on-prem. Suddenly it was like someone threw a switch and now all we can sell is SaaS.
