It's only the interweb don't let it worry you!
Most people will try and keep the heat build up to a minimum rather than try and get the panels warm! The polish and pad compounds themselves do the work.
Those that don't like them and think they can do more harm than good are those that can't use them properly. There is no way you will get the same level of paint correction and gloss by hand.
That unfortunately is very common, a high percentage of cars I have had to correct are those that have...
lol - Heat has nothing to do with it, it is just a side effect of the process.
The machines power to be able to work the polish so the abrasives can break down and do there job is what removes them.
Thats the correct order. As a general rule sealants should be more durable than a wax but lack in most cases lack the look a decent wax can give, hence why people use both. Though you can use one or the other if you wish.

It is akin to EGP but in a spray form, so wipe on and wipe off like a quick detail spray. Also is layerable straight away so no waiting between layers.
Working by hand to remove the swirls you will have you work cut out on Black IMO. Maybe better looking into someone local to machine polish the car so you can then maintain it.
If you are feeling strong and want the challenge look into.
Clay - Sonus Ultra Fine Detailing Clay and use a car soap...
I have decided to stop using the IPA and bit the bullet and ordered some Zaino AIO after seeing not only does it it prep the surface for the Z2 etc it looks good too.
Just spray the IPA onto the paint in a spray bottle mixed with water and wipe off.
I tried Clearkote VM and CMW on Silver...
Sounds like single stage paint - no lacquer.
Not sure what you have done to create that bloom, I have used SRP on single stage paint lots of times. You got any other polishes to try ?
Ask the people painting it as to if you can wax it or not, no point second guessing.
I have just had my bumper painted and am using Meguiars #7 Show Car Glaze for the next few weeks.
As others have said one clay bar is easily sufficient for a whole car, if the paint is not to contaminated you will most likely get the whole car done on a 1/3 of a bar.
You can then polish the panels one by one straight away with the SRP. Apply it to the panel, work it and remove straight...
Another vote for Duragloss too.
I would look into the Werkstat Acrylic Jet to, leagues above the CG sealant offerings.
Worth remembering the sealant or wax is the final few precent of the cars overall look, the main bulk of the gloss and look is created in the polishing stages.
