All I was going to say was if its by hand don't bother mate 😂 Lol, I jest, but also don't to a certain extent. When I first polished by hand it was a complete ball ache and the results were absolutely nothing compared to when I used the machine. If you can borrow a machine and buy...
I was about to say... you used straight masking tape lines, you could have back folded to prevent a straight paint line. But jesus that looks epic. Job well done sir!
Not per capita, no, simply because there are less people in Scotland than in all of greater London for example- less cars, less cars for sale; however, potentially less buyers too so good cars are more readily available- who knows, its an interesting one. And yes, more miles of road per car...
You'd be welcome to my Black Gold, but what I seem to want for it and what people think it's worth are a little bit apart haha. Good luck with your search, I can imagine it being tricky finding a car up in Scotland.
So after much deliberation, I have decided to list my 182 for sale- testing the waters as I was unsure how to price it with the cambelt being due. Going to see how it progresses, if I can get a price I am happy with, I'll let it go- if not, I shall have to get the cambelt done and commit to...
True dat, got to be a better daily without the cold start running and much more low down torque. Wouldn't even know how to price what it would cost to put a meg engine in, parts or labour.
In theory, I don't know much about the belts but perhaps they are misaligned? Or it is one of the other belts? Needs a gearbox recondition and that oil leak looking at but I might be tempted for £2k!
I'm sure this one keeps getting cheaper?!

Of the gearbox... clearly. Haha! Looks great mate, loving that front grill and stance. One of the best colours imo too. I very nearly bought one of these before my 182, I still think they are a cracking little car.
Curious comment, thank you for your insight, I've always liked the EP3s so it's curious to hear your thoughts. I've never really taken to the Mk6 ST, always felt like it was something lacking despite what I heard was pretty sweet handling, sounds like the engine lets it down a little.
On a...
So Scotland. Went up to do my annual North Coast 500, although I did a slight variation of the traditional route and I actually do it the 'wrong' way round, heading up the East coast first and then down the West coast. I used some family in Liverpool as a starting base, and Monday morning...
UPDATE TIME!!
So been having major building work at the house which has been a major PITA, no access to the garage for 13 weeks so far and limited access to the drive too. We sold my Mum's Abarth after two years or ownership, was a great little car but was just sitting around most of the week...
