Well I bought my Clio from a Seat dealer and it came with a 1 year warrenty. The warrenty stated that the car had to be serviced at stated intervals, it also said that the services could be undertaken at any registered VAG (or summit like that) garage. So I took it to Lexs, got it serviced, owt...
Can I ask why you take it back to Renault? Why not take it somewhere with a decent reputation which is gonna cost you a hell of a lot less and probably get a better seeing to
Personally I think the v6 looks fantastic but I think its performance is a little dissapointing. 3.0 v6, 200+bhp yet 0-60 in fractionally faster then the Cup? Dont get me wrong, it must be full of torque and so much fun but you cant help wondering!
Good point Scooby dude, you dont see many Cups, but then again I havent seen many 172s! But the Cup looks like it can shift, the 172 is a more suttle looks more like a 1.2 16v Clio. What Im gettin at is that you could annoy a lot of rep mobiles, boy racers etc thinking its a ickle Clio in the...
Well its not even in the same league as a scooby, thats why its only £11500 as opposed to 20k plus for a scooby!
I wouldnt think it would transfer a lot on the road, just thinking whether its really worth sacrificing luxuries for speed and handling.
Out of interest, has anyone actually driven both the 172 and Cup for some time (not just a test drive)? I know some mag like Evo tested the Cup and 172 and the Cup was 2 seconds quicker round the track, but how much quicker is it really on the road with the average driver?
Then if you can claim tax back, yes you would get 17.5% back.
The 172 retails at £15995 from Renault in UK, most car supermarkets do them for bewteen £11500-£12500, thats with VAT added on.
Rob you sound like a american women on Jerry Springer or some other dodgy talk show. Oh thats like so 90s, tell it to hand cos the face dont wanna hear! hehe
I love seeing old knackered Fiestas with plastic XR2 kit stuck on with super glue. Saw a Saxo with LED washer jets on this morning which made me laugh.
