The blue looked dated back 5 years ago for me it would let the entire refresh down but each to there own.
Maybe a nice 2 tone leather. All the effort, time and money just seems a little silly to keep the 'OLD' interior/colour.
Drop me a PM if your friends don't have them mate. Regarding the seats, I'm 5ft7 small to medium build and they are not too snug fitting but much better than the OEM ones plus at a guess there half the weight.
Thank you, I think the whole not spending much on it has completely gone out the...
Not much in terms of progress, I'm sure Fred@BTM is having far too much fun in my car to give it me back (jokes).
Collected these from another member, thanks Hal.
A little TLC and they should look pretty nice. Thinking about fitting them around Xmas time so plenty of time to clean them.
A little stereotypical there from the OP.
Must be hard sitting up there with that amazing image Subaru owners have...
Joking aside I'm not against the actual Subaru plate, its the same with S2OOOOO owners and ......EVO. I think the more pressing matter is the Clio plates. After all this is a...
Not to a S4 or 182 you will not.
I'm not certain there is an aftermarket ECU available for the Clio that offers REAL ALS as an option. ( Obviously requires a turbo ).
There not actually that bad for a road tyre. Obviously there are tyres out there a lot better but long as there priced withinn reason there isn't really a fault for what they offer.
Can't say I'm a fan of BC Coilovers. From experience they are a very 'budget' brand. But that was in the Evo scene. I've no experience of them on a Clio.
Saying that your car looks stunning. Wheels look great and a really nice stance the car has from the new coilovers.
Undo the arch and have a look near door. I found around a tonne of dirt there which wouldn't help.
Also run a pin under the car near skirts to check the drainage holes are clear.
Failing that it must be a door or window seal.
Well not much progress in terms of mechanical as the car is still with BTM.
However I took this opportunity to get a few things ordered.
Firstly a stud conversion kit, granted its not the most expensive but for £40 I couldn't say no. I'm actually unsure to fit them or not. May actually buy...
Nice, seem to get good numbers on these nowadays.
Hopefully it's going to be a much better project than the whole 'evo' one as was looking forward to "serious" power there too.
Joking aside i'm only envious!, lovely car!
I'll see if Fred has managed to get hold of one for me first.
Like I say I spoke to a few places and I'm sure I spoke to one of the UK distributors which said there a few weeks away but could be wrong.
Just had a quick search, the Evo was standard apart from a HKS exhaust. (Which isn't the best for releasing power).
The Evo at a guess was around 270-280bhp. In which case a sub 1000kg 200bhp clio would feel quicker.
£ vs £ it is pretty hard to rival the clio and the OP has a lovely example!
Oversteer we can deal with, understeer is when we have a problem lol.
I know that stupid ass rear strut brace is damn noisey but I like the 'theory' behind it even though I'm pretty confident it does nothing but add weight to the car.
We'll speak about the suspension when I collect the car. In...
@g172 is the man to PM regarding brakes!
Not a fan of the EBC range. Irony as I'm currently running EBC 'Red'. DS2500 for fast road or DS3000 for track is what most on here will suggest.
And the above is probably classed as a cheap form on motorsport. Crazy money by the time you add it all up. A lot of respect to the people who do it on a regular basis!
Started to strip a little more of the car.
At the moment it looks awful as I have wiring hanging from everywhere but hopefully this'll be sorted. At this rate I may even consider cutting them as its only the rear lighting / speakers. I believe the boot and rear brake lights run on there own...
If it was a petrol turbo I'd say yes but not sure the diesel turbo relies as much on more/cooler air in all honest.
Save the £35 or put it towards a more performance enhancing modification like a remap / some sort of tuning box.
That'll aid performance and maybe economy but as above I doubt...
