Hi after abit of help with a few fault codes that have come up on the car.
i know the airbag ones are old from when i changed the steering wheel, i also know about the throttle one not being a fault. Its the rest of them that i am stuck with, am i right in thinking it could be a broken cable...
Had a look and found that the cable to the air bag must have got caught and damaged. So I have ordered a new squib/ clock spring to sort it.

Hi just changed the steering wheel on my 172 cup, fitted the correct 3.9ohm resistor to both connectors. I'm still getting the airbag and service light come on, any ideas why ???
i have checked the resistors are making contact and are the correct value.
Swapped the wheel on my phase one no...

best you can do is as said above get a few adverts of cheaper 182's in any colour and then find the ads for ly. Makes sure you mix the ads up as some insurers dont like pistonheads prices. Go for autotrader, pistonheads and anywhere else that a ly is for sale .

I know this one was on the forum a few owners ago.
Right after chipping a tooth swapping the stub axle over the wheel still rubs.
Now on the drivers side you can fit your hand behind the wheel, but the passenger side the wheel touches the arch liner.
Any ideas guys before i burn the fucker and take the 1.3 diesel to the ring !!
Spring is fine, im running standard suspension aswell.
Yep its all the time, More noticeable when turning right.
The wheel seems to have developed quite abit of camber aswell, so im thinking more towards rear beam????

Passenger side rear wheel is rubbing on my phase 1 172. It was fine till a track day at cadwell. Im running standard 15"wheels and toyo 195/50 tyres. Drivers side is fine, no rubbing at all. Checked wheel bearing and have no movement .
Any ideas ???
