Don't sugar coat it Craig, LOL!
Hmmm, cheers for that. That's thrown something new into the mix.
I was under the impression that whilst the 3.4 had an IMS, I thought it had been revised, maybe not.
Is there any visual difference with the Gen2? I don't know my porsche's all too well...
I was looking at a 2007 ish 3.4S?
I thought the 3.4 didn't suffer the bearing issue? Plus, I imagine the 3.4 may hold it's money a little better? Or am I way off? Lower engine porkers seem to drop faster..
I reckon so, they're not coming down in value really, which is great for you, but not so much me. It was always going to be at least two car's down the line. I was looking at going all 987 Boxster S but at the moment I just can't make up my mind.
I did consider the m135i lease, but couldn't...
Grey facelift 3.0si with CSL's and I'd not need another car for a fair while... someone on the owners club currently wants to buy mine (looking for a well maintained high miler) so it's EVER so tempting.
Royston, as for the offset, that's just one particular set of reps. Whatever I got would...
No ignorance needed.
Winter were needed for three reasons:
1) I did approx 11k miles over winter for work, if we had bad weather I need to be able to still drive decent distances with no concerns or getting stuck.
2) Summers are 18's, so didn't want to buy 18 inch winter tyres for a million...
I need to figure out if I want some. The wheels I currently have are worth approx £600, that's more than half way to decent CSL rep money.. Oh and I have a pair of £400 headlights in the garage to sell...
Of course sir, dry weather and I'm all over it. Although these are on more tyres I've never tried, but it won't take me long to see if they're any good.
108's, lol!
I have a set in the garage, fully split, no broken bolts, just need to be sent for a powder coat as they're already split down...
Plates, thanks for the reminder.
As for looking better, it doesn't help that my after photos suck, I prefer it on summers though, less badman, far more OEM.
Clearly not enough! The weight is fine, it's the awkwardness of the size/shape makes carrying them down stairs bloody impossible...
After gally moaning 24/7, I decided to sort this out after work today. Bloody hard work with the wheels being upstairs and heavy as b****cks!
Anyway, last shot on the winters:
And a few generally terrible shots on the summers (I'll be going out for some pics with a few other z4's Sunday...
Why aren't they just replacing the phone? I didn't know they did a settlement figure. I'd haggle for the 5s figure, claim you need a metal bodied phone as you work in an industrial environment, and a 5c would last minutes, hence you buying a metal bodied iphone in the first place. May get you...
(which is within the rear disc) buy new discs (genuine renault preferably) and kill two birds with one stone.
Make sure you re-fit the small spacer on the rear of the disc, and fit it the right way around.
Saw bits and bobs of this on flickr the other day, thought I'd pop in here. It looks really good mate, as said, monaco with standard wheels works really well indeed.
Nice tidy up thread so far, look forward to seeing it progress.
Flickr's retarded new setup has hit you... and only one image is working. I'd fix it, but I've not looked in how to do it yet. Poxy thing.
The other option is to just copy the url out the middle and stick it in the middle of [ img ] [/ img ] with no spaces.
I don't even know the story of the black one? Bought to sell? Already got a buyer? Has Mark not got some 25mm spacers laying around? Or did he sell them on already?
If it's not already got a buyer, all stickers off, it ruins it.
This tread still makes me feel all happy inside. I do however, still think you're mental. Like totally bonkers.
Can't wait to see it finished though.
Those grab handles and engine cover are superb. If you're going to re-fit the engine cover, I have a load of gasket tape that should stop it...
