Tried our works db (decibel) reader today and it gave the 96db on my custom exhaust... Where do I hold the thing and at what revs to see if its ok for track?
I want to have a straight through centre section but it seems a bit too loud before I even do that :(
Is this a simple or complicated thing to do, ie what needs to be taken off or unclipped?
I've noticed that the badge is glued into place on my 2nd hand badge assembly... so no simple job of un-popping it like the front :(
Bilstein & KW don't do them for cupped packed 182's. If we had numbers then might be able to get them to look into the matter... AST are about £250-£300 more than H&R's and thats with a group buy of 5 or more.
Stab in the dark but people wanting WK's or Bilstein:

Chap said anyone with hips over 34in then XL is needed. I think they are designed for the youger drivers?? for a tiny bit more cash might as well go for the XL. They only have one in stock but more due this week. Also have side mounts in stock too.
Apart from the resistors, what would need to be done to fit these into my 182? Will be removing the rear seats but no cage in yet... Will new holes need to be drilled to fit the seat fixtures?
Found this chap with a bit of pre-race build up... a few people around him noticed too lol. NWS btw...

Well it works out at £1245 for the coils and top mounts, then fitting on top of that. I'm guessing Curtis said £250 discount as it was a telephone enquiry, might drop more if we have people that are serious but I doubt we will ever see the price of the first group buy.
Would anyone be interested in a group buy for AST? they are £1300 + Vat (inc. top mounts). 5 or more and we are looking at approx £250 discount, maybe more if we get names down? Fitting, alignment etc is £200 + Vat.
Looking to get a cheap one... Any pointers as to which ones to get? Ones to stay away from? etc...
Don't want to spend anything fancy but also don't want to buy a cheap ebay one if it breaks or gives a duff torque setting.
Thanks,
Mike

This was the only decent thing I could find on the page tbh ;)
Getting some new alloys this week and in white, so need to give them a some bloody good protection! lol
I've used SRP & EGP on wheels before but what is the best for new wheels? Will have as long as needed to let layers set etc so any advice on wheel sealants would be very helpfull :)

I'm getting these after seeing Guppy's car, ive got G/B too. Speedline can do them for £464 collected or £476 delivered. Thats quite a bit ceaper than anywhere else. If you do want them then could possibly purchase together and see if they will knock a bit more off ;)
The unlimited mods was one of the things that makes me favour them despite being cheaper. At the stage now where i will be modding there car every now and again. That doesn't include engine upgrade or roll cage but i wont be doing that atm lol.
Me thinks i'll go to them :)
Any feedback on this company? They were the cheapest i've found so far and by a tidy amount. Had a bad experiance with a well known insurance company in the past so need some feedback please :o
