I was due to buy a 2nd hand set of 2118's and powder coat them orange, but that fell through. Kinda like it tho in strange way.
Think this was Guppy's car a while back, did a photoshop and wanted orange wheels ever since lol.
Had some AST's fitted 3 weeks ago, big thanks to Dan R who was selling them. Car feels much more positive when turning in, plus more stable for general throwing around lol. Only downside I can find is driving over them poxy cobble stones you get at Tesco, back end shudders over them lol...
Sounds silly but CS2 doesn't have Arial Black in it's font list, not mine anyway...
Is there a way of importing this off the net? In my previous version you could download and insert them into the font folder. You could also cut and past text and it copies the properties...
Cheers, Mike
Want to polish my misus Mini one today but unsure if its ok to polish over the factory fitted strips on the bonnet?
Also whilst on the subject, there are loads of light scratch marks on the shiny plastic cover that are situated on the side rear windows... Can these be corrected or best to stay...
Talk to Edward at EJM (01789 763150) or pop over to his place as it's not far. They run cars in the Brit series as well as rallying. Tidy unit and they do full race/rally preperation including welding cages & painting in-house.
Could always just get them done at Powerstaion, got mine done on...
Sat in a few of the Sabelt ones whilst at silverstone. Gaffney even let me do up the belts and have a chat about whats what on the car lol. they are indeed very comfy! Maybe a tad tighter than the Cobra Sebring and Evo's.
Can get the GRP Sebring ones for less than half that. Was quoted £950 for two (one GT width), alloy mounts, and custom stiching. :)

Cobra Sebring Pro, Evolution, etc...
Anyone fitted two of these? If so, are there any restrictions to view out of the back and from the sides? For day to day driving that is :o
Pics welcome too! :)
Gave up in the end and took the CAF only to the upper half of the engine bay. Didn't notice any difference, maybe a tiny bit on a cold/moist day. The paint on the trumpet also looked sh*t after a month of stones hitting it...
Will soon find out how it feels, was only for a project after all lol.
Have had the pcb's checked by a local specialist just to make sure I'm not doing anything silly and damage the electrics. Turned out to be as simple as I thought...
Resistors on order plus a few extra button tops with...
If you went direct they would sort you out a set for under £430 ;) Add £16 for postage... Nice bunch of chaps if you have a chat with them, will even get a set of wheel bolts thrown in lol.
yup, the boss has a rubber sleeve so can flex them under that. Trying to find some sleeves to go over the buttons too if anyone knows were to look?
If no luck I might get them plastic dipped, remember in my last work place the toolroom had a plastic dipping bath for new press tools, think it...
