Ive had Gaz GHA's and they were perfectly fine. I now run KW v2's which are an order of magnitude better in terms of damping and ride quality. I wouldnt ever suggest buying Ktec's coilovers you will very quickly regret doing so. definitely wait or save for something better, you really do get...
I had this issue and changing the throttle body seemed to fix it. I had a spare engine so swapped various bits to try fix the issue. Wouldn’t have guessed the throttle body was the culprit but I haven’t seen the problem since.
The squeak will be a pulley or the tensioner. The whirring could be the power steering pump but could also be belt related.
Sounds like it could do with a service.
I had the same problem the other end. And the second time around of trying to get it off i used a combination of heat and penetrating fluid and it eventually came loose.
Replacement engine would be the cheapest solution i wouldnt entertain the thought of getting the current one rebuilt.

Are you looking at the bottom of the gearbox, seeing fluid and assuming it’s leaking from above?
Renault gearbox’s are designed to lose/leak fluid as a way of self lubricating.
I use the horse shoe to put the inlet cam timing slightly out so when you tighten the dephaser it pulls the cam into the correct final position. Its obviously not the correct procedure but it works for me.

Thats fair enough. I know everyone is different but i personally prefer to use a cheaper oil but change it more often. If you are after a decent oil ive heard Royal Purple is about as good as it gets.
