    Fast gearchange grind/crunch into 4th

Maybe a silly question, but when driving my 182 if I change gear normally they all engage smoothly and quietly. Today I was just cruising on the way home from work and noticed that if I pulled the gearstick really quickly from 3rd to 4th it would feel almost 'too easy' to go into 4th and make a...

    Upgrading front door speakers

I'm now thinking of just upgrading the front door speakers, would a decent upgraded set of door speakers improve the sound noticeably with the standard head unit? If so, would I buy just plain 13cm type speakers (no tweeters built into them like components) as I would just keep the standard...

    Remapped clio 182?

What are the standard rev limits when cold, 1st/2nd gear, warmed up...?

    Best mild audio upgrade?

Thank you so far, final question... Do I need to get speakers with a seperate tweeter up front and the combined in the rear or just 'woofer' type speakers in the rear? Excuse my ignorance!

    Best mild audio upgrade?

Also, I know they are 13cm speakers, do I need to worry about how 'deep' the speaker is? Ie will it actually fit in the door card?

    Best mild audio upgrade?

Just googled the alpine KTP-445, never seen that before, looks interesting! Would only work with Alpine I presume. The thing is im going to go for a Sony bluetooth head unit, so wanted to stick with either just that (hoped that might improve audio on its own) So im going to do both speakers...

    Remapped clio 182?

Well mine seems smooth in the morning, pretty much the same as when warm. So does the rev limit when cold still apply with a remap? Because mine sometimes revs to 7,600-7,800 sometimes, but sometimes limiter cuts in at 7,000 when only been driving for 5 minutes?

    Remapped clio 182?

Ok thanks guys, I started it up a few minutes ago from cold and it idled a little over 1,000rpm. I haven't looked yet what idle is when warm. Thanks for the info, so its safe to say my car has a remap of some sort though?

    AMD in Essex

I used to have an A3 that I had mapped/rolling road/serviced there and IMO theres a few nice guys there, one or two I found really rude though didn't like the attitude so I stopped going. And yes the rolling road was rumoured to be 'generous'!

    Best mild audio upgrade?

Thanks for the replies, I don't want sub or 6x9 speakers, I want to keep it as standard as possible. Would just a good head unit upgrade the sound a bit? Or just front speakers?

    Best mild audio upgrade?

Hi guys, looking to do a mild upgrade to the sound system in my 182. Have come from an Audi A3 with Bose sound system - nothing special but it sounded reasonable and actually had some sort of bass. What is the most cost effective way to upgrade the audio? Just a head unit? Or just front...

    Remapped clio 182?

Recently bought a clio 182, think it has been mapped (bought it from a dealer he didnt know) Reason I think it has is because when warm it revs over 7,200 which is the limit for a standard one? Mine goes to about 7,600rpm. Sometimes it does only rev to 7,000 though is that because its not up...

    Pipercross Viper

Do you know what the standard airboxes usually sell for? I'm thinking of returning the airbox to standard, is the standard airbox known to be restrictive or anything or is there no real benefit? If it adds 2bhp i'll keep it lol...!

    Pipercross Viper

My recent purchase (182 with both cup packs) came with a scorpion cat-back and a pipercross viper carbon induction kit. The exhaust is staying for sure, its a really nice system. I'm not sure about the induction kit though, it sounds nice but i've never really been a fan of induction kits so...

New member - seat subframes/in car stereo and speakers

Hi all, I recently bought a minty mint 182 in black gold with both cup packs. Anyway, really impressed with the car in terms of spec, speed etc, but 2 major problems for me. Seats are too high, and standard stereo is shocking! Any advice/guidance would be appreciated... - I've looked into...
